Albeit, there are toursity outlets here, but if you are looking for something more unique than a t-shirt this might be a good choice.

One of my favorite places to go on a Monday along with Jubilee Market right near by. Not huge but a nice assortment of stall holders with a variety of a bit of everything, A bit more like a tiny antique show. Prices not cheap but then again things that you do not always see everywhere else. Numerous restaurants and shops surrounding that are there every day. This is a Monday only event I believe. It is under a coverd arcade.

We happened to choose vintage day in the apple market which takes place on monday's only. The kids loved finding bargain broaches and old military hats and medals all at surprisingly cheap prices.

The Covent Garden Market is a pretty big place, but the Apple Market is very well marked and easy to find. In the northern section, it comprises one of the corridors between the fixed shops. There is a great selection of assorted items, notably clothing and jewellery. The authentic British, "home-made" section in the market, it is pretty cool and well worth a look.
