We were very lucky to get ticket for the Barber of Seville. It's a fantastic experience even if you don't really like opera.

If you like opera or ballet you have to experience a performance at the ROH. The theatre is wonderful and the quality of the productions always excellent. There are only two downsides to attending an ROH performance. Events tend to sell out quickly, particularly the cheaper seats so it is worth registering on the website to get notified when tickets go on sale. The only other issue is that the bar areas can get horribly busy in the interval. make sure you book drinks in advance or take a bottle of water with you.

A wonderful evening though probably not one to repeat regularly as it is very expensive! Specially now you can see live productions at the cinema for £12.

Nothing more to add as the performances are world class even if I don't like the piece or the production

During the day one can pop in here. Although you wont see a performance they have a nice little shop with lots of CDs and some souveniers. Go upstairs where there are cafes and a balcony from which you can look out over the rooftops. The loos are good too!
