“A great tour , well worth the £9 each”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

The tour of the 'house' excluding backstage was excellent and informative, John the tour guide was relaxed, knowledgeable and had some humour and made it enjoyable. From the upper auditorium to the orchestra pit via the Royal box it was great to even be in the place. We will return for a performance next time in London

“Fantastic Experience”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

It was such an exciting visit to The Royal Opera house with my two daughters to see Tosca. Wonderful experieience that didn't disappoint, tickets were expensive!

Also booked dinner to have pre performance and pudding and coffee during the two intervals. Divine food and service. Also very expensive but you can't 'spoil the ship for a ha'penth of tar', or that is what I kept telling myself!

“Magical”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Treated my wife as a birthday present as she has been a ballet lover for years. My own first visit being a bit skeptical, how wrong I was as the whole experience is just wonderful and we will definitely be returning. I am a convert.
Seats cost £110 each but well worth every penny.

“New Italian restaurant”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

We ate in the new Verdi and had a very pleasant meal with a drink before our show. The pizzas are huge so good value for money and a nice little selection of starters/appetisers. The only thing I would say is that the service to be seated even though we were booked and then once we'd placed our order was a little slow so allow a good length of time before your performance so you don't feel rushed.

“Special place”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

We prefer ballet to opera and although we've been to a number of different places to see ballet, the a Royal Opera a house trumps them all. Worth paying extra for better seats and to get a close view of the costumes and performers expressions. Flawless.
