I have to agree with another review I read about this hotel. I stayed here for three nights from June 2-5th, 2014. The inn is very convenient to London (the tube station is a 2 minute walk and the Northern Line will take you almost directly to all of the major attractions) and it's affordable. The staff were, for the most part, very welcoming and helpful. I want to especially commend Valentina, Christina, and Beata (in the kitchen); 5 stars for them and their positive, helpful attitudes. They were friendly, courteous and willing to do more than was expected or required.

The standard room we stayed in on the first floor was efficient, clean and modern. It's not big. But it is comfortable and quiet. It was extremely clean and the modern decor was attractive. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. The room comes stocked with 5 bottles of cold water, Cokes and Diet coke as well as chocolates; this was a really nice touch and it was all complimentary! Yes, something was FREE. ... well...you know! You're paying for it, but at least it is not on your bill!

The downside is that it is a little out of the main London stops and the hotel is not well marked from the street. There is a sign, but it is almost invisible. GPS the address and it will take you to it. You will still have to look hard to find it. Also, there is no elevator or lift, so the first floor means you are going to have be bring your luggage up stairs. Blah!

There are a few, but very few, good restaurants close by. Be aware they close early ... like 10 p.m. So if you have the munchies, get there early. One they hotel recommended and we did eat at was Jade Cottage, which is Chinese. The food there is very good.

Overall, when I return to London, I am definitely going to stay here again!

We stayed at the Hide for a 4 day city break in London. The rooms look pretty chic, although smaller than you would perhaps expect. Very clean, good air conditioning. Clean bath with all needed amenities, including a spacious shower. Friendly staff(gave us sightseeing advice, european plug adapter, early breakfast on departure day and a good taxi price towards Luton airport. Enjoyed breakfast each morning. The tube station is pretty close -2 min walk. Travelling to the city center takes about 25 min, but we did not mind the distance, and there are plenty of trains running every 5 -10 min. All in all, a nice hotel experience, complementing that of a wonderful city. We higly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here 2 nights on a solo personal trip after a business trip in London. The inn is insanely convenient (the tube station is about a 2 minute walk up the street and the Northern Line will take you almost directly to all of the major attractions) and affordable. The staff were, for the most part, very welcoming and helpful. The standard room I stayed in was efficient...you're not going to be in the room, so don't worry about the size. It was extremely clean and the modern decor was really attractive. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the waters, sodas, chocolates in the room was a really nice touch.
The downside is that it is a little out of the main London stops, so if you're one that wants to stop by the hotel throughout the day, probably not the best choice...buck up and pay the $700 a night for central London.
I would recommend asking for a room facing the rear of the hotel.

Room Tip: Get a room in the back of the inn or ask for a "quiet room".

This boutique hotel is very comfortable, reasonably priced and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfasts are great, served in a delightful little sun lit room and even though the hotel is on a very busy main road, our front rooms were quiet, with brand new bathrooms with all quality toiletries. We had chocolates in our room on arrival, complimentary soft drinks from the bar fridge, and on our 3rd night, a bottle of champagne! Nice touches that encouraged us to stay on our return to London. The tube and restaurants are a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended!

Needed to be in Edgware, so found this gem of a hotel - but I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fantastic value-for-money deal in London and does not mind a ride on the Tube to central London.
Staff - lovely and courteous, very helpful.
Breakfast is served in a room full of atmosphere, full English type, fresh, tasteful.
WiFi - free and fast.
Parking - limited, a bit awkward to use - but free as well.
And the best part yet - the rooms. Simply on a class of their own for that kind of money - I paid about 100UKL - for a double room this gives you one of the nicest styled and equipped rooms on the right side of, say 200 pounds!
Beautiful and tastefully furnished bathroom, excellent amenities/toiletries, quiet room, inviting - I loved every minute.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: For a super-quiet stay, choose the rooms that aren't facing Hendon Way, although the noise insulation seems to be of a high standard in all rooms. Only go for a meal in the Hendon Pub oposite the hotel if you are REALLY, VERY hungry...otherwise get a beer there, and eat elsewhere...
