Weather permitting, and better on a sunny day, this walk it is a perfect way to sighseeing in London. Take it from Westiminster bridge and walk along the Southbank. Enjoy the views at the other side of the river, and through the river: Westminster, Charing Cross Road, Temple, The City, Blackfriars bridge, St. Pauls, London Bridge, even you can go as East as Tower Bridge... and enjoy the many attractions that the South Bank offers, starting from the London Eye, National Theather, food markets (Borough market one of them), historical pubs, restaurants, Tate Modern, London Globe... you name it. A must of your visit to London.

Quite often go for a walk or run along the South Bank. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, there are always street acts, artists, musicians along the route. There are plenty of places to stop and grab a coffee or a bite to eat. The only downside, especially when you are trying to run, is thats its very crowded in the day. If you are running, I would recommend going out early in the morning or later in the evening. If its a nice day, and low tide, trying walking down the steps and take a stroll along the 'beach'. Its pretty cool!

I've always been fond of the South Bank, and so decided to take my 2 children aged.4 & 7 for a day out here. They loved it as much as I do! We took the tube to Westminster and took in the sights of Big Ben before walking along the bridge and starting our stroll along the South Bank.
Lots of fabulous street entertainers and the views of Londons iconic structures are incredible.
Plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. The Clink museum is fab if you have the time. Another mention is the Mug House pub.
Just behind tower Bridge station is the fabulous shard. Breathtaking.

There's so much to see and do on the South bank. Many attractions, all amazing. London eye, dungeons, sea life and Shrek! Also, lots of great street performers such as magicians which are great to watch. Many great restaurants, there's definitely something for everyone. Views are stunning, day or night

If you want to have a day out in London you cant go wrong here.
Plenty of attractions like the London Eye,Duck tours, South bank centre, and Royal festival hall. Also, there are street entertainers and a good street food market on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
