I love the National Gallery, it is the place where all the top-class artists' work should be displayed.

Most of the pictures you've studied in school and university, are here... You can find history in every step... And for free....

spend an afternoon at the Gallery - enjoy stepping out of the busy world of today and just enjoy pondering at the art work this amazing gallery offers. My family and I often spend an afternoon just "looking and enjoying" the art on display - so peaceful just magic. I would recommend this to all ages and tastes. A great afternoon - enjoy!

What better way to celebrate my fortuitous trip to Kempton park this week than to pop in to the National Gallery and enjoy the fine vistas. But oh how my heart sank upon entry, barely an equine portrait in sight, not even red rum and aldaniti escaped me completely.

If I hadn’t stumbled across a rather fine facsimile of old uncle George I’d have said the whole afternoon was a complete wash out.

There's so many works of art to view here,a must see is Van Gogh's Sunflowers.I have visited here many times & always enjoying having a look around. One of the best things about this gallery is that it's free entry unless you are visiting a specific exhibition then you have to pay,the shop is a bit on the dear side, but when there's so many great works of art to view & free entry then it's not too bad.Make sure you allow plenty to time to see all you want to & maybe try to avoid a weekend day as it can get really busy.
