There’s no charge to go in to see the original works from the likes of Leonardo, Picasso, Monet and so many more. It’s an opportunity of a lifetime and should not be missed. Photography is allowed inside shockingly but no videotaping. I could spend hours here! Love it!

The tour is well worth doing - we had 75 minutes with some fascinating stories. It really bought the art alive

This assembly of work was a revelation. In addition to the more readily accessible works, such as those of Rouen Cathedral and the Thames, the exhibition included many paintings from private collections and less accessible galleries. The material, which spanned around 40 years, was well divided into themes and an excellent little handbook was provided to help us through the seventy plus paintings on display. Although the exhibition title refers to Monet & Architecture it could equally have been Monet & Light such was the way the same subject was often captured in different light conditions. We made the mistake of visiting on a bank holiday Monday so the rooms were rather too crowded for us to make the most of the paintings, many of which need to be viewed from near and far to be fully appreciated. I'm not sure if there will be many times when this exhibition is not busy but if you can find one then an excellent experience could be made even better.

Like it says. On top of their regular collection, until sometime in June they have a special exhibition of Monet and architecture. Amazing. Go.
