Quite honestly the reviewer below me has said it all.... What is not to love about this wonderful boutique hotel?

We had a Jnr Suite overlooking bustling Monmouth St that was quiet and spacious. The beds are the biggest we have ever slept in and the decor eclectically subtle that even my ocker husband appreciated.

But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every member is pleasant and helpful. The concierge boys even managed to secure us tickets to Les Mis for a sold out evening performance.

The location is perfect, close to all the major attraction, choices of conveniently placed tube stations and excellent restaurants and shopping at your front door.

Thank you CGH for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

Room Tip: I doubt there would be a less than desirable room at this hotel.

A room on the first floor overlooking busy Shaftesbury Avenue should have been a recipe for a sleepless night but not with CGH. This perfect sanctuary in the heart of London isn't going to let reality get in the way of its guests' comfort.

From the personal approach from the staff, the 'gentleman's club' feel to the lounge and the chintzy decor that really doesn't offend any single males not fully in touch with their feminine side, this is a truly great hotel.

Located in Monmouth Street just an Olympic gold long jump from Seven Dials, CGH is surrounded by boutique shopping outlets. Perfect for people watching from the tables outside or in nearby Neal's Yard it feels less like a hotel and more like your private London pad.

And the bed...so wide that you'd have to make a telephone call to say goodnight to your partner!

Love it to bits!

We have been lucky enough to stay in many fantastic places around the world but this hotel for us is just so comfortable, chic & homely

As always a great stay, staff amazing, especially if you have a chance to chat to them.
Nothing was too much trouble.
A perfect location, close to most of London's attractions.
Love it !

Me and my sister visited for afternoon tea on Friday afternoon. The hotel has a very traditional style from the moment you step in. Immediately to our left we entered the brasserie which is where our afternoon tea was served. The interior was just right for afternoon tea with floral covers on the seating and grand traditional decor. The staff were incredibly polite and the service was excellent.
We selected the traditional afternoon tea was delicious from the sandwiches which were a selection of egg & cress, salmon and cream cheese and cucumber. Beef was also available but we opted out of this as we don't eat it. The selection of cakes were equally as delicious as we're the warm scones with jam and clotted cream. Overall a splendid visit. We will certainly be back.

We stayed here just before Christmas and from the moment that we arrived we knew we had chosen the right hotel. Checking in was quick and efficient, the staff were lovely as well as efficient, things that do not always go together. We were given a room on the lower ground, which initially I found off putting as there were no "proper windows" but very I very soon forgot my concerns as the room was beautifully apportioned. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom, with Miller Harris accessories, luxurious. The hotel itself is positioned within easy walking distance from the centre of Covent Garden. It was no problem to amble to the shops or restaurants. We stayed two nights and enjoyed, both an evening meal in the restaurant which was very well presented and tasty and afternoon tea which I particularly enjoyed. The tea was very generous and I found I had no room to eat again that day. One comment that I would make was that we found the bar very busy and rather over crowded - be prepared to wait if you want a seat! A last thing to mention is the fabulous breakfast. Part of the breakfast is in the form of a buffet but anything hot is cooked especially for you and was delicious. This hotel is not cheap but if you are looking for a special night away I would recommend that you look here.
