Owner description: The London Dungeon, one of the UK’s most iconic attractions, has reinvented itself now as a bigger, bolder and better attraction in the vast underground vaults of County Hall on the South Bank, next to the EDF Energy London Eye. The all new multi-million pound attraction will bring 1000 years of authentic London history to life with a unique mix of talented live actors performing in scarily funny shows, stunning special effects, edge of your seat surprises and two exciting thrill rides. Guests will embark on a journey through a dramatic London landscape going back ten centuries. They will be guided through ghastly plague-ridden streets, witness Guy Fawkes’ dramatic plot to blow up Parliament, travel back to Jack the Ripper’s bleak Whitechapel and walk beneath London’s foreboding medieval gates. There are new shows and rides which are more dramatic and surprising than ever, new funnier scripts, more theatrical costumes and styling and more talented actors to play even more colourful villains and blaggards.

Good performances by the actors, and a generally enjoyable experience. However it's not much different from the "dungeon" things in other cities with the same brand. If you've already been on one of those, this is not much of a new experience, but this is definitely a very fun and enjoyable experience.

Thank Luke v

“Fun day out in London”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

This is a nice way to spend 90 min in London. Feels very authentic. Lovely atmosphere. A little bit macabre but it goes with the territory I suppose. Would definitely recommend it.

“A historical hoot!!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

Just returned home from a day at The London Dungeons. Despite bang in the middle of july the queue was short so we got the next show which was a 15 minute wait. Its basically a theatrical walk through the horrors of the dungeons with two rides (one a boat ride and one a 33ft drop). The actors were excellent and the atmosphere creepy - really enjoyed the "Jack the Ripper" show - very scary. Definitely worth a look if you're out and about in Westminster.

“You get wet!!!!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

My husband and I visited on the 5th July. I had been to the Dungeons at Warwick Castle and so I did wonder if there would be similarities. There was a reason wait to begin with before the experience started properly. Once it did start it covered A LOT of history (Guy Fawkes, Plague, Jack the Ripper). There was a Log Flume type of ride that did get you a bit wet and there are other places around the tour that you can get wet too. There were a couple of times that can get a bit jumpy but I don't want to go into too much detail because it'll spoil it. Both my husband and I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.
