We had 7 nights this month. We enjoyed London enough from here. Front desk clerks are enough. Persons at dining room are better for preparation and deal with us. Bed making is enough.
But the door key did not work well that could not open smoothly. The room key was bad. We could not use it rightly?

Having read many TA reviews, we were nervous about staying here. But after three nights - it's just fine. But be realistic about your expectations! London hotel rooms are teeny, unless you pay big bucks.

With 2 adults and 2 children, we booked a "family room." The elevator holds 2 people and their luggage, so be prepared for stairs. The entire building is small and cramped. Our room was absolutely tiny - but since we were rarely in it, this was actually OK.

The free breakfast was fine. Again, realistic expectations are your friend. We were fine with a croissant, Nutella and yoghurt. My husband tried a sausage one morning, and said it was fine. Get there before 9 am, as the food only lasts until about then.

Wifi is free, but you have to get individual codes from the front desk. Everyone we met at the front desk was nice and helpful.

The location was really a plus: 15 minute walk to Victoria Station, which hooked you up with the Underground, the trains, and the London tour buses. About a 4 minute walk to the Pimlico station, which we used when we left. Very nice area surrounded by beautiful town homes and such. We felt safe at all times of the day and evening.

Several markets in the area offer food for the room. My family highly recommends St. George Tavern about a block from Victoria. We ate there several times.

We would stay there again.

If you are looking for a bed, then this hotel is fine. It is clean and tidy and the welcome at reception is good. If you want a hotel with facilities, this is not the place for you, since there are none, other than a basement breakfast room and a small bar. The bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows and the room was warm. This being the second visit, I made the mistake of not asking for a rear room: yes the view may be over the back of houses and not the road, but the front rooms are noisy - and I like to sleep with the window open - from passers by and the traffic. Breakfast is included int he price, but why does the hotel bother? I would rather have none offered and go elsewhere or pay a decent price for a decent breakfast. All that was on offer was dried and tasteless scrambled eggs, congealed baked beans and the most disgusting sausage I think that I have ever eaten. Ugh! Toast was cheap from cheap bread, pastries were stale and the coffee was undrinkable. All in all a waste of money.

Holiday Inn Express: at recent stays in a couple of your hotels I have had similarly inedible breakfasts and feel that you either stop this and charge a fair price for an edible breakfast or upgrade your offering.

Free newspaper - but no choice or offer to get me my preferred paper. Free wi-fi - I was told that this was because I am a Gold Elite member, but soon discovered that this was offered to everyone. The good thing is that the free wi-fi worked, unlike at the Crowne Plaza in Marlow where it was useless, no real solution or recompense for me having to pay extra - so a hotel that I shall not be using again.

I would return if I needed a clean bed in Victoria, but would not even bother with breakfast - therefore my room rate should be reduced.

Room Tip: Ask for a rear room so that you don't hear the road noise, and do not accept one of the basemen...

Very good location - 5 min from Pimlico metro station, very easy to get to airport expresses, clean, friendly staff. The street isn't overcrowded so it's very calm and relaxing there. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included. Free wifi.

Room Tip: Since the lift is very slow, it's better to ask for a room on the lower floors.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room on the top floor found to be quite small but adequate for a short break (3 nights). Plenty of choice for breakfast spent at a leisurely pace. Bus service not far away which took us into heart of London and Theatreland, easy walk to The Eye past Parliament. Will certainly use again on next short break

My friend and I stayed for one night in order to visit Winter Wonderland and Covent Garden. The hotel is in a nice location with the number 24 bus stop a few yards away and a 15 minute walk from Victoria Coach station. This was my third visit and again the staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. We had a nice room on the top floor with a great view. Breakfast was ideal, with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. I will definitely book this hotel again for my next mini-break to London. We were allowed to leave our bags in the luggage room, until it was time for our return coach trip.
