“Lovely boutique hotel”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

I recently stayed at the Nadler while attending a conference in Earl's Court. The hotel is very modern and up-to-date, yet still quaint as it captures many of its unique architectural details. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are well-appointed. The service was terrific--especially Stefania at the front desk. While they don't have any food on-site, there are plenty of restaurants in an easy walking distance. It was also an easy 10 min walk to Earl's Court, so perfect location for the conference.

I did have to change rooms--my first room was in the basement below the lobby, so you heard the noise of the staff all night. But while that was not a great night, the staff quickly changed my room without hesitation, and the rest of my stay was perfect. For the price and quality of the hotel, I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Just make sure you aren't on the basement level, and you should be fine. The rooms on the upper...

Hi Darcy K, thanks for your feedback. I am delighted to see that you enjoyed our hotel, location and its value for money, not to mention our ever friendly and helpful staff, who really make us stand out! I am also happy that we managed to rectify the situation by changing your room. Our lower ground floor rooms, some of which have patio gardens are generally quiet and very popular so I apologise for the inconvenience. On your next stay, check out our website where we display lots of information as well as all our room types, and call us directly to get the best price and the room that you prefer.

This small hotel in the Kensington area was a good news/less good news story for us. The good news is that our room was quite spacious and nicely furnished. And the bed was of good quality. Any negative rooms concerning the rooms must be based on reserving the least expensive accommodation. And the location near Earls Court Road and the tube station were real bonuses.
We can say that the staff were always cordial. And there are some good pub/restaurants and Italian restaurants nearby.
However...
It would help if the website identified the Earl's Court Tube station and subsequesnt walking directions to the hotel. We erroneously disembarked at the South Kensington station, which left us with quite a long hoof to the hotel.
If you do not have a laptop with you, the internet facilities on site are laughable. And while the desk manager who checked us in was helpful, we found that some of the multinational staff had sub par linguistic skills.
And our room, which backed onto an alleyway, was flooded intermittently thoughout the night by a security light on the second floor of the next building. Blackout curtains would have been helpful!
And while we know that London is an expensive city, the room charge for three nights really was inflated for what was available on site, especially for a three star rated hotel. the cost would peobably keep us from returning.

We appreciate your positive comments and are sorry if you have felt our value offer was not up to your expectations. Some of your comments are, however, not accurate. We do state clearly on our website, both in writing and on the map, how to get to us by walking from Earl’s Court tube station. Nowhere does it advise guests to get out at South Kensington. All of our staff are qualified, professional and friendly; and while for some, English is not their first language, their language diversity adds value for our international guests (as you can see on many reviews). We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and whilst the free internet on our HD TVs for those without laptops isn’t as good as a laptop, it’s the best available on a TV. We also have a free computer in reception for guest use. Our rooms have wooden venetian blinds as well as curtains, so with both shut, there should be little light intrusion. We have not previously had complaints about a floodlight from a neighbouring building and will look into this. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

clean and save rooms; good room service; friendly reception; solid and "user-friendly" interior; nice area and building; laundry service; TV with Internet; instant coffie + tea on the room; little problem to pay in Euros...

Room Tip: more quiet towards the yard (...naturally)

We stayed for one night and found every aspect of the hotel to be as good as it's possible to get.
The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. They clearly have a high standard of training in customer service.
The quality of the room and the finish was absolutely excellent. The standard of the facilities was simply excellent. The bed was beautifully comfortable, the bathroom couldn't be bettered, etc, etc. There was so much to recommend this hotel.
OK, so they don't do evening meals but that's a known fact and something that you are aware of when you book.
The breakfast box was as good as it can get, too, containing everything you'd need to have a start to the day.
We would unhesitatingly recomment this place and will use it again when we next make arrangements to go to London.

Dear Harlech_11, thanks for your super review, which we very much appreciate. Thank you for pointing out that we state clearly on our website that we do not have a restaurant or a bar, although we do provide exclusive discounts for all our guests to local cafes, bar and restaurants around the area. Together with the mini-kitchen, that’s all part of our sustainable, transparent and flexible concept. We look forward to seeing you back soon for another great experience!

Located just off the tube stop at Earls Court, it is a very adequate, no frills hotel that offers the budget traveler great value at a reasonable cost.

The staff at The Nadler are extremely friendly and helpful. I was warmly welcomed upon arrival and though a little too early for my room to have been ready I was immediately offered the option of stowing my luggage till such a time I could be properly accommodated.

There are public computer terminals in the lobby for general use or wifi connectivity is also available at no extra charge. And for nourishment/entertainment, there are several decent restaurants and bars in the area as well. Tip: for simple, scrumptious fare, give Ballans (a short distance away on foot) a go.

Rooms are on the smaller side but comfortable enough. I'd initially been assigned a room on the lower level but asked for reassignment because of the poor lighting (something to be cognizant of) and was easily accommodated.

Great service. Friendly staff. Very conveniently located and good value for money.

Room Tip: Rooms on the lower level offer little light. Ask to be roomed on the main or upper floors.

Hi Parlonny, thanks for your detailed review. Happy to see you loved our suggestions; Balans is great and one of our favourite restaurants too, and offers our guests discounts too. I am pleased that our responsive and supporting staffs promptly relocated you to a room of your choice. I would add that our lower ground floor rooms with patio gardens are very popular in summer, so if you return then, you may want one! Please take a look at our website for more information on different rooms and sizes. We look forward to seeing you back soon.
