“Another great stay in London!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2014

This was our third time staying at this hotel. We had stayed before in July 2011 and March 2012 when it was Base2Stay. We love this hotel! We are a family of five and have to get two rooms. They accommodate us by having two rooms side by side. One with king and pullout chair - the other with two bunk beds. The rooms are modern, clean and functional. Wonderful to have the mini kitchen! Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Great location - one block from Earl's Court. Also walking distance to Natural History Museum & V&A Museum. This hotel has more of an apartment feel to it. We will be back!

Room Tip: There is a room that holds four on the 3rd floor (I think) that has a wonderful view of Courtfield G...

Chose The Nadler Kensington because I stayed there last year and loved it. This year was just as great. Unfortunately, I did not get as good a room this time - the bed in my room was in need of a new mattress. However the staff was very accommodating and provided a plush feather bed topper, which made all the difference. The rooms offer a clean, modern design, with modern bathrooms. Everything works as it should. Plenty of outlets. The wireless is easy to access and is fast. The location is excellent, in a quiet neighborhood, but with quick access to the tube, and several places within walking distance to stock up on breakfast items, drinks, etc for your room. My only complaint would be the noise from the room above me... I could hear every step they took. Thankfully that only happened the last two nights of my trip - so not sure if that's a flaw in the construction, or just bad luck of being situated beneath people with extra heavy footsteps, as the first several days it was completely quiet. Overall, it was another wonderful stay and I will definitely book a room here again.

Dear Indiawilkes, thanks you for your review. Such lovely comments from a guest who stays for a number of times really have a lot of impact. Been chosen again is a great reward for us and everything we tried to achieve daily for our guests. I am so sorry the guests upstairs where so loud that you could hear footsteps. All of our rooms as you mentioned are extremely quiet, but reception is always happy to help in reaching our where the noise originate to make sure noise is kept within comfort for all guests throughout the hotel. We look forward to hosting you again for another top stay at our Kensington hotel. All the best, until we meet again.

Third visit in 14 months. Each visit consistently great: service, room fittings quality, bed & bathroom. Ideally placed in central west London close to Earl's Court and Gloucester Rd Underground stations, the Cromwell Road, major museums and the South Kensington, High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge shopping precincts.

Understand that the rooms are not "modern large", this being a period terrace conversion BUT they are very well executed in design, space extracted and fittings - the en-suites particularly. The hybrid apart-hotel concept of full room service plus microwave, sink and fridge is very well done and the public spaces are both light and chic.

London at 3-star rating and above is never cheap but this is definitely one to put on the list if you want something with style and character in a handy position, in the lovely Courtfield Gardens area of Kensington.

Compliments to Ms Leoni in management and particularly Andre, Sophia, Abdullah and James in front-of-house.

Stayed 4 nights on a extremely comfortable bed with a combination of pillows we chose ourselves.
The room is well designed and we ate breakfast every day very comfortably. There is a Marks and Spencers very close to the property and a Sainsbury a little further away. This is a quiet area which was a welcome respite from the very populated days we had visiting tourist attractions. The Underground station, Earl's Court, is a 5 minute walk away and we were easily able to connect to sites all over the city. I did not rate the room excellent as we did have ongoing problems with the shower - it continually changed between cold and hot water and kept turning off after a few minutes. To be fair, I kept forgetting to discuss this with the staff and they may have been able to correct the issue. I would still recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a very elegant and comfortable home away from home.

Room Tip: Make sure you understand how to use the shower and also make sure to avail yourself to the pillow se...

HI J H and thank you for your lovely comments. You seem to have fully embraced our concept. I am delighted you enjoyed the pillow of you choice and that you took full advantage of the local area. Sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the shower. I wish you would have mention to reception as they would have been able to fix this for you straight away. We hope to see you gain in the near future

I stayed here with my mom during a week-long visit to London. I had heard great things about this hotel for years, and it lived up to it's reputation! The hotel was comfortable, clean and friendly. It had a very sleek & modern feeling, but everyone was friendly and down-to-earth; requests we had were promptly handled (cab requests, extra towels, etc.) Nobody ever made us feel like two dorky tourists from the U.S. :)

We stayed in a double room, and it was definitely enough room to feel comfortable. The space under the beds and in the closet hid all our luggage and clothing, so we weren't tripping over anything. The bathroom was spacious as well, and very clean. I also loved that the wifi was free! That was a great feature and, from my experience, unusual at a big-city hotel. As they advertise, there's no room service, but we didn't miss it (see the next paragraph).

The location was wonderful. While it's near some major roads, it's in a residential area, so it was quiet. It's a 5-minute walk to the Earls Court tube (District line, which gets you right into central London). There are also several shops on Earls Court Road to grab a quick coffee, breakfast or snack.

If I return to London (and I very much hope I will), I will stay at the Nadler again, no question!

Room Tip: Double room was very comfortable for 2 people (albeit a mom and daughter who get along well!)

Stayed for 3 nights during the bank holiday weekend. We arrived early (far before check in) due to our transport to London. The staff at the Nadler had no problem with us dropping our bags with them for a couple hours while we explored the area, they even provided a tourist map. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the tube station, and about 10 mins from the Natural History Museum.
When we checked In the staff were very polite and professional and we were given the keys to our double kitchenette room.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and had an air of real quality about it.

The room was clean and modern and looked like it had been recently renovated. I have seen reviews concerning the size of the rooms, however this is not something that was of concern with our stay.
Being a 6ft1 male I found the bed large enough, and despite our 2 cases space was never an issue.

The bathroom was modern and very nice, with a hot powerful shower.

The addition of a small kitchenette area in the room was extremely useful and handy for keeping drinks cool and ideal for breakfast. (Cereals etc)

Again when it came to check out, our flight back home wasn't until the evening. We checked our bags in at reception and picked then up later in that afternoon, again the staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful.

Stayed April 2014, travelled as a couple

I have to say this hotel is amazingly clean and spotless, which is rare. The hotel staff are very attentive, helpful and accommodating. It is probably one of the best 4 star hotel I have stayed in a while. The location is also very well situated in London with the Earl's court tube stop minutes away. The neighborhood also offers a wide array of restaurants and grocery shopping (Tesco).

I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an amazingly clean hotel and a very friendly and helpful hotel staff.
