Not many choices but the list of accompaniments was fantastic. Sampled several of the Bloody Mary offerings and they were great.

Stopped in after a long site seeing tour in the rain. What a relaxing time and warm-up opportunity. Very tastier and higher end proper English dinning experience. Apps w/style and taste. Great main courses, salmon, bangers and mash, duck liver.... Great experience with great service.

Thank KDGS

Excellent food and excellent service. Also very expensive but worth the splurge for the experience. Excellent beef and very fresh fish as well. Wine list is scary good and scary expensive as well. Again if you are into high quality and high price this is a great spot for dinner.

Thank Ron L

This is a restaurant in the heart of London at which you pay through the nose to go to. You'd think they would at least treat their customers with a little respect. Absolutely none of it. We confirmed a booking in advance but were regrettably 5 minutes late, and we called to say so. At which point a very uninterested waitress passed us over to the manager who in all honesty couldn't care less, telling us that we wouldn't have a table. It wasnt that they were busy, it was because they wanted to clock off! We were the latest reservation at 10.30 (after the opera so we couldn't do earlier) but we were assured on three separate occasions that this wouldn't be an issue, saying that they take people until 11 so the kitchen would be open well after that. But when we phoned they said they'd closed the kitchen. It seems they were perfectly happy just to stuff their customers to get some time off. We were then stuck in the centre of london with noone seating without a reservation. And to top it off we were sent an email in the morning telling us that they hoped we had a wonderful time and would we rate them. Too bloody right we will

We booked for diner for 4 people via toptable on a quiet Wednesday.
It seems that they did make some effort since the other reviews have been written.
* Service > fast, friendly and discrete (the waiter and waitress of the 2nd of november evening).
* Food > good, large portions except the dessert which is normal size (swordfish as starter, panned veal as main, strudel as dessert)
* Price > without the toptable 50% on food offer, quite expensive (21 GBP for a pan veal with a bit of salad). Cocktails are average plus, around 9/10 GBP.

Special note for the waiter that ran after me in the street because I lost my keys in the restaurant!

Globally a good night, however I wouldn't go back without a special offer.
4 stars with the special offer.
3 stars without.
