Had a fantastic experience in Selfridges Kitchen. Pizza and cakes to die for. Place is so busy so this shows how go that the food & service is. Its not over prices and its a nice place to relax and have a catch up with friends and lovely food. I had wild mushroom Pizza & Mr Selfridges fav éclair yummy.

Selfridges is probably as popular as Buckingham palace. It is a huge building with almost everything under one roof. However, it is a bit overrated as the stock in most brands is limited as compared to their original outlets. Most people can also not buy much mainly due to the ridiculously high prices. But every tourist should definitely spend some time here!

A bit of an overrated shopping experience. If you have the money, great, but if you just want to pick up things like mascara, go somewhere else. The service up in the shoe department (Havaianas) was perfect, but the cosmetic service down at Clinique wasn't great. So overall an average experience.

London, the epitome of Shopping ecstasy. BUT THE ultimate shopping experience has to be Selfridges. The staff are lovely, the shop is just stunning and the range of products is galactic! The impressive facade leads you into the entrance hall with perfumes, just lovely. Then the world is your oyster, including the oyster and champagne bar!! When in London do not miss out in the ultimate shopping experience. Then go around the corner to the Three Tuns for a few pints and a steak. Completing the ultimate experience.

Just read the negative reviews and we didn't make it to Harrods but 1 daughter has been to N.Y.C. and said nothing like it there. I loved the PBS series, so this was a must stop and it did not disappoint. If you have money for designer items from jewelry to handbags, a whole floor of shoes, etc., you'll find it here. My 2 daughters and I were so impressed. Restaurants all over the place and we couldn't go to the rooftop for a drink because it was full. I thought maybe Londoners preferred Harrods because it was founded by an Englishman, just a thought.
