Be careful ordering the 28 day aged steak. Mine was very gamey. Fine if you like the strength of taste. But it's very strong. Too much for me. They did offer to change it out so fair play. Wines by the glass is great. Try the Chateau Musar.

Our meat is aged for 28 days and then air-dried for an extra 5 which effectively remove all the moisture from the meat which accentuate the flavours, especially in a cut like the Rib-Eye which has a nice amount of fat in it which is the part that will have the most flavours.
Like i have said last night, it is a stronger flavour and not to everyone taste and I would have preferred giving you a different cut this time rather that you not enjoying your meal. Lesson learn, we will be more informative when we offer this type of meat in the future.
Again, my sincere apologies for not insisting for you to change your main course and for evening not being as pleasurable as it should have been.
You are right about the château Musar, this is really an incredible wine.
Please, do come again and ask for me to recommend your dinner and we will go through a few wines to match your selection.

An attractive and varied menu, delicious and well prepared but I wonder who it is aimed at, the residents of the associated hotel or the casual visitor? Prices were a little high for this kind of establishment, but not out of order. Would have given 5 stars but while the table service was superb, their idea of having you wait at table for the food to be prepared, rather than in the comfort of the associated cocktail bar was strange to me.
We found the breakfast a little confusing and the prices a trifle excessive, despite the wide buffet choice

First, I would like to answer your question as who is our clientèle. Well for us, everyone is welcome as our menu is extremely flexible. We usually have business men and women, theatre goers, special occasions, guests of the hotel, members of the connection club, civl servant etc, etc....The seating arrangement cover the casual dining, the more formal dining, the bar dining and the lounge dining. I like to call it mood seating as we will serve the exact same menu wherever you feel like seating. We are independent from the hotel and the fact that you must cross their lobby to come to us can be a bit daring and confusing. Glad you came to us. Sorry to hear that the breakfast menu was confusing. We will look at this very soon.

Had a pre theatre meal here with my daughter and was really pleased with the whole experience. The staff were all lovely. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We will without doubt visit again

Brilliant evening at Boyds. A very informative talk on gin with lots of tasting followed by a two course dinner which was delicious. The staff at Boyds are always very friendly and helpful possibly because their maitre d is excellent and very nice.

This restaurant oozes class, on entering the lobby the large chandelier sets the tone, the interior is luxurious but not stuffy, the staff are wonderfully friendly and the Manager (Fabien) is the perfect host, knowledgeable, friendly and there when you need him.
The food is exceptional, rich in flavour but not too much, with plenty of choice, the wine list is good and there are reasonably priced selections and also some more expensive for those that prefer the finer wines, I loved the ice-cream bar (something different)
Would I suggest this place "YES I WOULD" I like good food, in nice surroundings and sometimes in london to get this you have to pay a fortune and comprise on feeling relaxed, THANKFULLY Boyds Grill & Bar manages to balance Food, Wine, Ambience, Service and Cost. I look forward to returning very soon.
