What's most important when you want a base in a large city for a few days ? Guess infrastructure, traffic, availability , surroundings and the place itself will be important for most of us. In that case this hotel is a perfect choice in London. Short walk from Waterloo station, close to river, cosy streets around - and delivery of hotel services without mistakes. Very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet (and with individual TV sets installed for those who would like that) , bar-area with meals in most hours of the day. One thing though - perhaps a good idea if you decide whether you want the nice view from room or silence from traffic - in particular if you have a room in lower floors.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on tripadvisor. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the hotel, location and service provided by our staff. Some of our rooms have an excellent view of a few of the most famous landmarks in London while others tend to be a bit quieter. We will do our best to take your preferences into account when allocating the room upon arrival. I hope to be able to welcome you back to our hotel again in the near future.

Kind regards,

I visited London for New Year's Eve. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, opposite Lambeth Palace and 10 minutes walk from Parliament and Big Ben. The location was great for watching the fireworks show for New Year's Eve. London is a great city, with shops open 7 days from 7, even on the first day of the year. Regarding the hotel, the rooms are very large and modern decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and in the evening buffet restaurant menu is offered. The only minus was heating and ventilation system that was inefficient and noisy.

Room Tip: Executive rooms with Lambeth Palace and Parliament view.

This was a wonderful hotel - we stayed from 2nd January to 12th January 2012. The staff were great and the room excellent. Had all amenities - the breakfast buffet was lovely and fresh each day and room service was excellent. A few points though - one day we got back from walking around London all day and were disappointed to find our room not made up but a quick call to housekeeping fixed it. My only gripe is they asked to take a $100 holding deposit which I said was fine but when booking out asked the lady behind the desk to make sure that was cancelled, as I had paid my bill in cash in full. On returning home to Australia I saw the money had been withdrawn from my credit card. They should only take an indent of my card - not actually take my money unless I did not pay. Except for that - the hotel was wonderful and would definitely recommend it to people to stay there.

Room Tip: I don't know - my room was lovely and quiet - it was room 431.

From the front it looks like a 70s office block. Entering, you are taken aside by the space. Its light and airy front is made welcoming by the delightfully friendly and helpful Front of house staff. We arrived a little early and were welcomed nevertheless. The took our bags and we had a short walk around the amenities until our room was ready.

The location is Brilliant. a short 2 minute stroll from the famous over-the-Thames view of The houses of Parliament. Lambeth Bridge also is an excellent position to view Central London.

The Taxis are very very frequent, and the concierge will happily get a cab if asked.

Food. Very filling and satisfying. The Bar was prompt and comfortable.

Overall. Was I satisfied? VERY !!!

If you fancy a nice clean Hotel near to everything..... give this a place a look.

Thank you for your positive feedback about your recent stay with us. It is great to hear our team members were friendly and helpful. I will definitely share this with the staff. When arriving early we will provide you with a room if possible. Otherwise we do indeed offer facilities to store the luggage. This can also be used upon departure so you can enjoy the rest of your day visiting some of the landmarks located nearby. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you back to our hotel on your next visit to London.

I had booked the hotel a couple of weeks ago for a three night break for myself, wife son, daugher and their partners and my three year old grandaughter. We checked in 12/1/2012 Thursday eveniing and Isabelle at the front desk was very helpful and polite. I had asked for our three rooms to be close together on the same floor and if possible overlooking the Thames. We were allocated rooms 408-406-404. The rooms were very clean and suited all of our needs, rooms 408 and 406 were adjoining and our three year old grandaughter thought this was great fun. As requested the rooms had views of big ben, london eye,and st. pauls absolutely fantastic, particularly at night when lit up. The hotel location was superb only one minute from the Thames and five minutes from Westminster. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and the service excellent. All of us are looking forward to our next stay at this superb hotel.

Room Tip: 4th floor was excellent.
