This hotel is fantastic.
It's prime location is almost unbeatable. The square facing rooms offer a great view out over Leicester Square and the tube station (just around the corner) connects you to the whole of London within minutes.
We arrived early and were greeted by a number of helpful staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our room wasn't ready (we arrived early) so left our bags with the concierge and ventured out for lunch, the staff were all quick to make recommendations for the best places to eat.
We returned from lunch and found the bags already in our room, along with a voicemail from the "Customer Relations Manager" checking that everything was OK. The room was spacious and the bathroom contained separate bath & shower.
Each time we walked past reception the staff offered assistance with taxi's/recommendations etc. and, returning after our evening meal we found our room had been made up again with the bed turned down, curtains drawn and lights set.

It was also quite nice to see that the hotel bar prices were resonable considering the central London location. The staff here are a little slower than elsewhere but they were still very friendly and attentive.

The whole experience was fantastic and it shows you really do get what you pay for.
Location, staff and general hotel appearance were all well worth the money... just wish we could have stayed for longer!

Room Tip: A room/suite facing the square offer a nice view.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for leaving such a high recommendation of our hotel on Trip Advisor. It is wonderful to read that every aspect of your stay met your expectations and that we were able to provide a fantastic experience.

I am so pleased to read the team and I all contributed to making your stay an enjoyable one. We take great care in looking after our guests whilst in our hospitality and it is a pleasure to be of assistance.

It is great to learn how much you liked our location, that all of our front facing rooms have a view directly overlooking the square perfectly describes just how close we are to all of the action. Being located in the very heart of Theatre Land we feel very fortunate to be able to offer the best London has to offer in terms of attractions and entertainment, all within walking distance or a short tube ride away.

We hope you will have the opportunity to stay with us again, and for longer, soon.

If I can be of any assistance with your booking please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards

We upgraded our room to business class facing the back alley of the hotel, and this was fine because it was very quiet despite the central location at the busy Leicester Square. The room was relatively small, but it was expected for London at this price range. The fact that you could simply get the best food in London just outside your door step is the biggest plus for this hotel. The staff are simply the best, they are knowledgable, friendly and always smiling despite the rainy winter in London. I will definitely consider to stay here again when I'm visiting London again.

We stopped at this perfectly located hotel for drinks. The bar is now very trendy with good dervice and fairly reasonable prices given its unbeatable location on the recently revamped Leicester Square.

Following a less than perfect stay in one of their other hotels we reluctantly booked to stay for one night here.....within seconds of booking on line we were contacted by them to ask if we had any preferences re rooms etc
because of my husbands failing health,we had quite a few requests all of which were dealt with in a sympathetic and efficient way over a couple of emails.
The hotel is in a perfect central location with everything we wanted a short cab ride away. The room had an almost surreal view of the wheel,Nelson's column and Big Ben making it look like the snapshot postcard view ! The staff gave the impression that they were there totally to please the guests -trust me we stay in 5* all over the world and it's not always the case..We had a slight blip which was corrected immediately with an apology and complementary dish of fabulous fruit delivered to our room....we were a little worried that check out was at 11 but our train wasn't till later but rather than storing our luggage they allowed us a late check out which enabled my husband to take short naps in between trips out and about so making him a little stronger for the later long journey home. All in all we recommend this hotel and staff for going the extra mile and making our stay stress free-and for us that's priceless....thank you all

Room Tip: We stayed on the sixth floor where the views were excellent

If you are a first timer in London . This is the Best Hotel for you . A little expensive but you get your Moneys worth . The restaurant food is good and if you want Chinese food Super Star Chinese restaurant is walking distance and they serve the Best . During the Christmas season right outside the square is a small Carnival with Ferris Wheel and different rides for free . Tickets sales for theaters is just right in front of the Hotel . It's like you are in time square in New York . Everything is walking distance , Trafalgar Square , Big Ben , Piccadilly , China town and the Shopping centers like Harrods are just five to ten minutes drive By Taxi .The Staff and Porters are very good and senior friendly . The Junior Suite room is large and lovely with a view of the square. Room service and Breakfast is good. Will definitely stay at Radisson Blu Hampshire again .

Dear Liberty,

This is such a fantastic and detailed review, thank you so much for taking the time to share such positive comments on Trip Advisor.

It is great to read you liked our location and surrounding area, your recommendation of things to do sums up our prime position perfectly!

I am so pleased you enjoyed staying in one of our Junior Suites. We think these rooms are fantastic if you are looking for something spacious and a front facing view means you can relax whilst overseeing all the hustle and bustle of the square.

We trust you will return to stay with us again soon and we look forward to welcoming you back.
