Shopping and Theatre trip made all the more special by the attention to detail and faultless service. The decor in the main areas looked new and tastefully done. Our room (we got upgraded to a Junior suite) was furnished beautifully and supplied with all kinds of extras (fresh flowers, magazines, canapes, homemade biscuits, complimentary mineral water) that were a wonderful surprise. All the staff were eager to assist any way they could. A good selection on offer at breakfast, including freshly prepared fruit, and again excellent service. It took us only 15 minutes to walk to The Strand and is a great location for Covent Garden and the British Museum.

What a pleasure to return to this charming hotel! Staggering off an overnight flight from Nairobi we were somewhat embarrassed by our dawn arrival. We needn't have worried. A warm welcome from doorman to receptionist, neither of whom seemed the least bit surprised to see us at such an early hour. There was a room available and we were soon ensconced in the quiet luxury that is the Montague's hallmark.

The staff were all as excellent and helpful as we had remembered, and it really did feel like home from check in to check out. The bar and the Blue Door restaurant were just as fine as the first time. As all the rooms are different suffice to say that this time our ground floor king size room was larger than the one of our first stay, and decorated in a wonderful, muted African theme...which was fun after our safari adventure.

About the only difference that we noticed was that the rooms now have FREE hi-speed wi-fi. How good is that??

A great (but short) stay. We will be back!!

My husband and I and our 2 daughters stayed at the Montague hotel a week ago,It was wonderful. The hotel is very comfortable, the restaurant is excellent and the bar is a great place for a pre and post theatre drink.
Jorge on the concierge is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. He even anticipates your needs and has taxis waiting like he did for us when we were running late for the theatre. All of the satff are wonderful. Its walking distance to the theatre, covent garden and next door to the British museum. Regents park is a short walk away for an early morning jog or evening stroll.

This was our 6th visit. Although the staff could not possibly have remembered us from last time, we felt as though they did. They addressed us correctly and could not have been more welcoming. A joy to return each day after tiring sight-seeing. Beeming smiles from everyone. All front of house staff should be congratulated and the rooms were well serviced. Great state of the art showers - jet of water direct from the ceiling. Lovely meal in the Blue Door Restaurant. Would recommend 100% and I don't think I would want to stay anywhere else.

The best Hotel I have ever stayed in. Great location in a quiet street beside the British Museum, just a short walk from the West End`s main attractions. The staff is extremely professional and gentle. We booked the double superior room and despite the fact that it was super clean and well decorated, we found it too small to accomodate a couple carrying two big luggages. Then, we decided to pay more in order to upgrade for an awesome suite and everything became just perfect. We had the best sleeping experience ever due to the softness of the room`s bed. Finally, we are looking forward to coming back soon to stay again at the Montague on the Gardens. Congratulations!

I stay a number of times a year when in London on business. The rooms are well decorated and extremely comfortable with many thoughtful touches. The staff are without exception welcoming, friendly and helpful. The public areas are very pleasant and I am always comfortable if dining alone, the food is excellent.

I return to the Montague four or five times per year because they take care of me - all things great and small. They are within walking distance of so many wonderful attractions and it feels like home to have a sip of tea in my room or in their atrium with friends and colleagues.
