“Ideal for Covent a Garden/Theatres”
Reviewed 23 February 2014 via mobile

Stayed here for 1 night in a twin room. Staff were very helpful & nothing was too much trouble. The room had everything we needed, the only thing that let it down slightly was the small bathroom. For 1 or 2 nights though this was ok. The hotel is only 0.5 mile away from Covent Garden & most of the theatres so most places within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Dear Sians77,

Thank you for your great feedback regarding the team, the hotel facilities and its location.
As you mentioned, the Kenilworth is only located less that 10 minutes walk to the shopping areas of Oxford Street, Leicester Square the prime location in London for world leading film premières as well as Covent Gardens famous for its street performers, elegant buildings, theatres and entertainment facilities.

Once again, thank you for your review ,I do appreciate you sharing your comments with other Tripadvisor users and the team and I would be more than happy to welcoming you back to the Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth in the near future.

Kindest regards,

Xavier Paris

Great hotel compared to the ones I have stayed at in London previously. Small but comfy room and well equipped. Nice comfortable bed, with soft pillows and minimal traffic noise which is always a hazard in London hotels. There is a theme here..small! Small but well equipped gym. Room service was of high quality and breakfast was good. Have stayed here a couple of times now and will continue to do so when on business in London.

The location is the best thing about this hotel.

However, it was still very clean, comfortable and I would definitely recommend it. 2 min walk to the nearest tube and right on the doorstep of Covent Garden and Leicester square

Only gripe was that the room was a little small

I've stayed several times at this hotel for business, and it provides a consistent service. As usual with the Radisson Blu chain, there is a plush feel, and well trained staff. This one is very near Southampton Row and Tottenham Court Road, so is handy for getting about.

But for the high price paid, I have, every time, been given a very small single room. (The only one smaller is at the Holiday Inn Express, Victoria - but that's a lot cheaper.) There is a shower only, in a very small bathroom.

Breakfast doesn't have a lot of variety, and if it's not included in your rate, I would suggest is it not worth £20. Even by London hotel standards, this is high. You'll find better just around the corners at various cafes.

I'd say this is fine for a night or two on business, but if you're looking to say for longer or for pleasure, I don't feel this would be the best choice.

Dear Akatthebarn,

Thank you for sharing your experience with other Tripadvisor users.

Due to the shape of the hotel, not all the single rooms are the same shape which result to some of them being slightly bigger than others and therefore please send me an email prior your next visit to allow me to allocate one of the largest rooms.

We do offer rates on the Radisson Blu Edwardian Website which would include breakfast and I would invite you to check them out prior booking your next stay.

I do hope to welcome you back to the Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth in the near future.

Nice hotel and very friendly welcome at the reception. With all the wet weather the only pair of shoes I was travelling in over a 3 day visit to the SW and SE had become a little in need of a good clean up and polish. The concierge was busy and so the receptionist who checked me in had no problem whatsoever in sorting things and helping me polish those shoes. Now that's what I call getting off to a good start on a hotel stay. The only thing that let my visit down was that the single room I had booked was small and cramped even by London standards for the tarriff.

Room Tip: Don't go for single occupancy if you can afford not to

Stayed here on Saturday night. The location couldn't be better for getting around London, we went to the Southbank to see a show and the walk was easy. The hotel is very professional as I would expect from Radisson Blu hotels, from the moment you arrive to departure nothing is too much trouble. Our room was upgraded and located on the 7th floor, very quiet and relaxing and not too small for a London hotel. I particularly liked the bath robes and shower and found the bed very comfortable. If I have the chance I will stay here again.
