Just stayed here for one night to see a show and do a bit of shopping and sight seeing. The hotel's location was very good for this. We arrived early at 1PM but could check in on arrival which meant we could go out without the bag dragging behind. The room we got was very spacious for a London hotel and looked nice and the bed was great. Bathroom was good enough. We didn't book any breakfast but decided to have it in hotel afterwards which was good as we only paid a tenner instead of the prebook rate of 15. The breakfast was very good and with enough different options. We were allowed to leave the bag at reception so we could enjoy another day in London before heading back.
I thought the staff was very good with the checking as with the checking out.

I have stayed at this hotel for the second time and I remain on my impression from my first trip: just great! The staff at the front desk is just super nice, the room was sober but very cosy and the bed über comfortable! I was in London for a weekend of going out and the hotel is exactly ten minutes walk from Soho which is ideal. The Mercure brand does definitely keep its quality constant! I would totally recommend this hotel to any visitor.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back, they are much quieter.

Treated my girlfriend to a stay in London for her birthday. Took advantage of a deal via one of the voucher sites which included large room, 3 course evening meal, cocktail each and breakfast. Prior to our stay I emailed to confirm the booking and mentioned the reason for our stay, which they clearly took note of.

The hotel itself is very nice with a fresh, modern decor and we were pleased by the large, spacious room but I was most impressed by the service and effort put in by the staff members.

On arrival we were attended to by 2 staff members, one of whom wished my girlfriend a happy birthday, great touch which surprised and pleased her. In the room a birthday card had been left on the bed, a small touch she loved. It was hand written by a staff member which I think is much more personal and effective.

We had two single beds and asked reception to correct this whilst we popped out, which they did without bother. When we returned I asked about the evening meal I had pre-paid for. The arrangement was explained and we were kindly given a voucher for 2 glasses of prosecco to accompany our meal, again with a happy birthday from another staff member.

When we were seated for our meal my girlfriend was elated to see the table had been specially decorated for her birthday with some glitter and sparkles. The waiter and waitress both wished her a happy birthday and were very attentive all evening. Furthermore the food and cocktails were great, food was a very good standard.

This company understand how to be hospitable and clearly put customer service at the forefront of their minds. The staff made a very good hotel a great hotel and would certainly get my business again.
