Lovely rooms and beds soft and comfortable which was so important in getting a good nights sleep after all our sightseeing.
Staff very helpful and accommodating. Free wi fi an added bonus in keeping in touch with family and friends
Location could not have been better, short walk to train or bus and only a few stops from main attractions

We have stayed here a number of times, and each time have found this hotel to be comfortable with excellent service and a very good breakfast. We stayed in May 2011 and returned for two more nights in June when we received an upgrade to a superior room on the fourth floor which was a little bigger (the rooms can be small by Australian standards, though not so much by British standards we have found). We must add, however, that we were able to search good deals on the internet, booking through more than one website and prepaying, which made it a very reasonable stay as well (under 200 AUD per night).
The 'Shard' is currently under construction across the road which means that as you enter the hotel it looks a bit like a construction site in the street, but we found no noise problems once inside. The location is excellent for public transport, with two entrances to the underground within four minutes walking distance on two different lines, and about the same to the Bus which took us to Covent Garden via the London Eye and left every 15 minutes. The hotel is also very easy walking distance to the Borough Markets, a must for any foodies, and there were two good pubs with reasonably priced meals around the corner.

Room Tip: Our quiet rooms both faced the back of the hotel

I have just returned from a two night stay at the London Bridge Hotel. We usually stay another hotel near to Tottenham Court Road Tube Station when visiting London but decided to try the London Bridge instead. We were not disappointed! We were greeted by very friendly staff and offered help with our bags.
The first room we were allocated was a very nice standard double room at the back of the hotel - it was very clean and bright with a very comfortable bed and we were very pleased with it, however, after a few moments of being in the room Reception called us and advised that we were being upgraded to a Superior Deluxe Room. We then moved to the upper floor room at the front of the hotel which was amazing! It had a separate dressing room/walk in wardrobe, sitting areas and a writing desk, together with a HUGE, very comfortable bed. Again, it was spotlessly clean, with very nice fixtures and fittings. The bathroom was the same as the standard room with White Company Toiletries.
All of the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly, and suceeded in making our stay special.
Cocktails in the bar area were lovely, and breakfast in the Londinium Restaurant was delicious.
The hotel is situated literally around the corner from London Bridge Tube Station, with the Northern and Jubilee Lines making it even easier to get around than Tottenham Court Road. Also - make sure you have a wander around the now redeveloped area around the hotel! There are some good pubs, restaurants and wine bars with lovely atmospheres. Don't miss Borough Market either!
There is building work in front of the hotel but it doesn't disturb you as it starts around 8.30am and finishes around 6pm. If you are planning on spending time during the day in your room, perhaps ask for an even numbered room (at the back).
This is now our #1 hotel in London and we can't wait to stay again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back if you want to be away from the building work

The staff is professional and very accomodating. The location is great with easy access to all modes of transportation. We rode the underground daily.

The Hotel is centrally located right next to London Bridge railway station and tube station, which is directly under the 'Shard'. Even though you are next to a station you would not know it as there was very little noise. If you walk to the rear of the Hotel it takes you to Borough Market which is an excellent morning out!

The hotel breakfast which was included in the price was excellent value and the staff were all friendly and pleasant. The rooms were modern, sleek and clean and came with free wifi. The toiletries are The white company and we could not complain about anything about the hotel. We would definitely book there again if we are visiting London.

The hotel is about a 5 min walk from HMS Belfast and the Thames Clipper. We went to see a show at the O2 and caught the clipper on the way there and back and were in our hotel within 20 mins of leaving the O2 Arena.

We took a chance when we booked this Hotel as we had seen a bad report only giving 1* However we found the it to be a great Hotel in a very central location, good for the "clipper" and other transport The Hotel is clean, Staff friendly, helpful and polite. There is some work going on outside , but dont let this put you off as it is very quiete inside!!
