“London Bridge Hotel”

A wonderful Gem of a hotel that is reasonably priced. The dinner menu looked good but we did not eat there. Breakfast was ok but the would benefit from a larger breakfast room.Bed was comfortable and as the room was at the rear of the property. It was very quiet! Lovely again small room but adequate enough for a short stay. The front desk staff and concierge were great. In short a small friendly hotel with an attentive staff.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms at back of hotel

I stayed here with my partner for his birthday and felt that the hotel and the staff were very accomodating. Due to the special ocassion they upgraded our room to an Exectutive Suite which was a great treat! Although there are building works near they did not start until 9am on Sunday morning so were not a distraction, with the Shard next door what do you expect?!!
Drinks are very pricey in the bar but the atmosphere and setting were very nice. I would definitely return and recommend to others!

Stayed here for one night following a trip to Twickenham. Lovely hotel and great location. We arrived early and were able to check in and got a bonus when our room was up graded to a double delux which was massive and had everything we needed. Although there were a lot of building works going on around the hotel it was very peaceful and we had a great nights sleep. Would definately recommend it.

Just got back from London after staying for 2 nights at the London Bridge Hotel. What value at £99 per night for a top hotel in a great location, literally 100 metres from the Shard and 200 metres from the tube. However the hotel is so peaceful and quiet even with the development going on within the area. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable , the 5th floor has views of the Eye and Big Ben. The bar is great to relax in , quiet and plush with a great selection of food and drinks. The location is spot on you can walk into the west end in 20 mins along the river and you're 5 mins from the Tower Bridge. There's plenty of bars and restaurants in the area however and a brilliant market (on the Saturday) Borough market. Staff were discreet but helpful, keeping our luggage for us on the Sunday was no problem. I have no hesitation is recommending this hotel.

Room Tip: 5th floor (top) has best views

Stayed here for one night on business.
Check-in was quick and efficient. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The room was on the First floor overlooking the street. There is quite a bit of construction in the area so my view was of a building site. The room was of good size for a London hotel. two twin beds, desk, flat-screen TV with Sky, minibar and closet. The bathroom was also of good size with a full size bath/shower and marble sink. There was an ironing board and iron and room safe as well. Highspeed internet is free at this property.
The hotel bar was on the ground floor. Some lounge type seating and a few Bar seats. Good selection of drinks and well staffed. The bartender could use a lesson on customer service, my only complaint.
Breakfast the next morning was standard English fare. Service staff were friendly as well and the food tasty.
As for the location it was next to Tower Bridge station. There are many restaurants and pubs in the area. The hotel is also just a few steps from the river and the Queens Wlak on the South Bank.
I plan on staying again

I went to this hotel as a result of a coach trip organised by my husband's works. I was impressed by the closeness to London Bridge station but disappointed by the size of the rooms. We struggled to find space for our two holdalls so as not to fall over them!! The bed was comfortable and the room was warm, however we were in room 402 and all night there was a constant humming noise - it wasn't the heating unit as this was switched off - it felt as though there was a generator or air conditioning unit outside the room and this caused a disturbed nights sleep. The breakfast was plentiful and the food was hot and regularly topped up. The staff all seemed friendly enough. I would stay here again as long as I am not in room 402!

Room Tip: Not room 402

Despite construction across the street on London Bridge Station, the hotel was very quiet. Truly great spot to get around South Thames area, easy access to the Underground. Rooms are a bit small for me, but very clean with great beds. Bathrooms were a good size with an excellent shower. The adjacent gym was great to have (free to hotel guests) and internet access was remarkably fast (important for teen sons!). To use as a home base for wandering the neighborhood, perfect. Lots a neat restaurants and walks to do in the area. Nice lounge to come back to in the evening as well.
