Stayed here for a last minute treat to myself and cannot recommend highly enough. Living and working in London it's all too easy to take all its joys for granted, but this hotel reminds me of why London is home. The room was spacious, room service was lovely but what really stood out was the concierge Alpay. He was a shining beacon in what can turn a hotel stay from good to outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and not only did he clearly relish his job he also clearly loved the hotel - there's no greater recommendation for a hotel than staff who love working there.
Anyone looking to stay in a hotel next to the city but with good links to the rest of town (being right next to the station, buses and cab rank) should look no further. For foodies it's on the door step of Borough market. There are also a limited number of smoking rooms available upon request.
Highly recommended.

We recently spent 1 night at this Hotel. It is situated in an excellent location, at the foot of the Shard, close to London Bridge Station and Borough Market. At present, the road outside the hotel is closed to traffic due to the road being dug up by Thames Water, so although it is a bit noisy during the day, overnight it is very quiet.
The Hotel staff were very pleasant and attentive. Our room was massive (we were upgraded to a suite). Everything was spotless and tidy. The breakfast was the usual buffet affair and was about average for this type of meal. I do think that most hotels could make a bit more effort with their breakfast. I like to see something on the buffet menu that relates to the place I am visiting, i.e a locally produced sausage.

This is my favourite London hotel and as a recruiter for hotels, I have been in one or two!

The rooms are spacious and well stocked with everything you need. The beds are so comfortable, we spent most of our day looking forward to getting into them!!!

Staff are so friendly and attentive, especially Greg on Reception. Location is perfect, just a couple of minutes from the tube.

Breakfast was lovely, quality ingredients and a great big pot of tea.

Cannot recommend more highly - in fact, I'm going back tomorrow!!!

A wonderful Gem of a hotel that is reasonably priced. The dinner menu looked good but we did not eat there. Breakfast was ok but the would benefit from a larger breakfast room.Bed was comfortable and as the room was at the rear of the property. It was very quiet! Lovely again small room but adequate enough for a short stay. The front desk staff and concierge were great. In short a small friendly hotel with an attentive staff.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms at back of hotel

I stayed here with my partner for his birthday and felt that the hotel and the staff were very accomodating. Due to the special ocassion they upgraded our room to an Exectutive Suite which was a great treat! Although there are building works near they did not start until 9am on Sunday morning so were not a distraction, with the Shard next door what do you expect?!!
Drinks are very pricey in the bar but the atmosphere and setting were very nice. I would definitely return and recommend to others!

Stayed here for one night following a trip to Twickenham. Lovely hotel and great location. We arrived early and were able to check in and got a bonus when our room was up graded to a double delux which was massive and had everything we needed. Although there were a lot of building works going on around the hotel it was very peaceful and we had a great nights sleep. Would definately recommend it.

Just got back from London after staying for 2 nights at the London Bridge Hotel. What value at £99 per night for a top hotel in a great location, literally 100 metres from the Shard and 200 metres from the tube. However the hotel is so peaceful and quiet even with the development going on within the area. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable , the 5th floor has views of the Eye and Big Ben. The bar is great to relax in , quiet and plush with a great selection of food and drinks. The location is spot on you can walk into the west end in 20 mins along the river and you're 5 mins from the Tower Bridge. There's plenty of bars and restaurants in the area however and a brilliant market (on the Saturday) Borough market. Staff were discreet but helpful, keeping our luggage for us on the Sunday was no problem. I have no hesitation is recommending this hotel.

Room Tip: 5th floor (top) has best views
