Friendly service from the moment we walked through the door. Comfortable room with everything you need, superb Breakfast. Walking distance to all the exciting attractions and a great view of the Shard. What more could you ask for.

I've stayed at the London Bridge hotel a couple of times. It's on the South Bank of the Thames but close to London Bridge so easy access to the City of London. Also very close (almost next door) to London Bridge train and bus station. Hotel is clean and also quiet - I thought there may have been loud trains going all night but I've not head a thing. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Happy to use this hotel.

Excellent hotel and accommodation, friendly helpful and efficient staff, good food and drink. Close to amenities and sites: The Shard is a must do fantastic experience, Tower of London, River cruises to Greenwich etc, restaurants are all to hand plus Borough Market and Brindisa tapas bar excellent. Spamalot really blew the cobwebs away Saturday evening. High octane worship at Hillsongs Church Bermondsey then sublime evensong at Southwark Cathedral. Born and bred Londoners we never tire of the old girl, always something fresh around the corner. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Back of hotel is quietest

Sadly only stayed one night, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, the location is perfect for the shard, borough market, the Thames. Hotel beautifully clean, room spotless. Excellent

I wanted to spend the weekend in London with my daughter as we had tickets for C2C at the O2 and finding a twin room at a decent hotel proved really difficult.

I tried the various Premier Inns (all sold out of twin rooms), looked at various (wildly expensive!) options nearer the O2/Canary Wharf area and at this point I was starting to despair and was starting to think I would have to resort to booking the (bulk standard, not very exciting) Travelodge near Tower Bridge which wanted to charge me the jaw dropping price of £150 per night (excluding breakfast!) when I came across the London Bridge Hotel who were happy to charge me £288 for their two nights O2 package which not only included breakfast but also included free river boat return travel from London Bridge to the O2!! A bargain for a boutique style 4* centrally situated hotel!

The staff were all very polite and helpful and our twin room was perfect for the two of us - not huge but a great size for a couple of nights stay. Everything was clean, we had comfortable beds and a big bathroom with a lovely shower, fluffy white towels and White Stuff toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room as well as a safe and complimentary bottled water (we didn't venture near the mini-bar!). A flat screen tv, plenty of storage space and a room that was the perfect temperature meant we had a wonderful two night stay. We stayed in room 423 which looked onto a large glass fronted (half built) office block so, not much of a view, but we were in central London so didn't expect much anyway, and the room was quiet.

The London Bridge Hotel is ideally situated only 3 minutes walk from the tube and The Shard is just a short walk at the end of the road. The Thames/Southbank is 3/5 minute away too with Borough Market just across the road.

The buffet breakfast was tasty, hot and fresh with a great choice of hot food, cereals, juices and pastries.

I can highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in London.

Room Tip: There are 5 floors and I would imagine the higher floors are quieter. We faced a large building but...
