The hotel is clean, well priced and the staff are by and large lovely, polite and helpful. However the old world charm is also a curse at times, some good to really awful decor. The mural in the dining room for instance, is so tacky it's laughable! However some of the furniture, mirrors, lamps etc; work extremely well for the period of the building. No tea and coffee facilities in the rooms is an old fashioned mistake and having to hand in your key each time you leave is a very stupid relic if the past! In summary a great, budget venue, clean and comfortable but with some modern thinking and investment this place could be amazing!

I found this hotel online for our first visit to the UK. The location was great (very convenient to the tube and Hyde Park) and the place looked charming. It was all of that. The staff helped us with a reservation error I made and went above and beyond to solve it. Our room was perfect. You never know what you're going to get from an online find but this place was terrific, It has charm and character, was very spacious, was very clean, and was quiet. We were there for 4 nights so we had the chance to experience it and am I happy to give a wonderful review! Tea was great too!

Stayed here with two friends at the end of March for a theatre break. Hotel was in a good location and very nice. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, service was first class! The only thing we were unhappy about was there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, however, we ordered it from room service and service was prompt with lovely cake to accompany it! Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Got a last minute booking and found myself in a nice corner of London, in a great room, with desk, planty of space and a reasonable view. Room service was great and make up for no tea or coffee facilties in the room. Relaxed check out/in times, and a good breakfast. Recommended.

We stayed on a Saturday night and were surprised to be upgraded to a suite. Fab location, 2 minutes away from lancaster gate station , with welcoming staff. The car parking at the back of the hotel was very handy and the breakfast was tasty. Would recommend for a short stay...

We stayed for just one night and wished we could stay longer. We'd booked a twin but were upgraded to a lovely, huge suite with two balconies and views of Hyde Park. Very lucky!
The decor has a country house feel - slightly faded elegance - but that really appealed to us. It was clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing. The beds were comfy. We slept very well. We had a lovely afternoon tea in the Rose Garden restaurant. Mmmm warm scones.
The biggest asset at the London Elizabeth is the staff. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn't have been lovelier.
The hotel is opposite the Italian Garden in Hyde Park - lovely for a walk. And it's just down the road from Lancaster Gate tube. Very convenient. I would definitely stay again - with or without the suite!
