“Not good – not bad” would sum up this Paddington area hotel. We booked four nights at the Falcon when our travel plans changed at the last minute. Our first floor room was cramped and the wood floor not as clean as we would have liked. The beds were okay. Our ensuite bath had the tiniest sink I have ever seen. The cooked breakfast was quite “average” with few choices and a very small dining space. We eventually found rooms in a larger and cleaner hotel at a slightly lower rate. The Falcon has no lift so people on higher floors get to drag their suitcases up many narrow stairways. The internet connection was on again off again during our stay. One great thing about the Falcon is that it’s only a 5 minute walk (maybe less) from the Paddington train station.
