Stayed here on Saturday night for a girls weekend in London. The location is fantastic within walking distance of sights, shopping, restaurants and theatres, we were able to walk everywhere. Service was of a much higher standard than in other similarly rated hotels in London - the hotel is an independent and a recent Times Top 100 Small Company to Work For - and it did show. Very well appointed rooms, we had 2 superior twins and both rooms were decorated to a high standard although one was very much on the small side for 2 people. Very good breakfast, again great service and a relaxed atmosphere rather than a canteen type buffet. Would return!

Stayed in Cavendish three night from 9th March could find no fault with anything cant believe our luck picking such a brilliant hotel for our first visit to London. The best bit was how welcome we were made to feel by everyone at the Cavendish without exception they were all extremely friendly. Will definitely recommend hotel to friends and will be back soon as we loved London nearly as much as hotel.

I stayed at the Cavendish over the weekend of the 9th March for 3 nights with my mother. The hotel is excellent with friendly, helpful staff, who make you feel so welcome and at home. The staff are polite and very respectful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The food in the hotel is amazing. The breakfast is great with such a good choice. The food in the restaurant in the evening however, is out of this world and we could not fault it. Note to the manager - YOU NEED TO BE SHOUTING THIS FROM THE ROOF TOP. Excellent quality and good value for money. Don't just advertise the afternoon teas and the pre theatre dinner, which are also excellent and very chep for this part of London. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing that spoilt it was the noise of the 'Hooray Henries' coming out of Tramp at 3a.m. Will be back again. Mrs. K. Ideally located on a quiet street, with a short walk to picadilly circus and St James' Park and within walking distance of many other attractions. Had high expectations after being recommended by a colleauge to The Cavendish, and the hotel definately exeeced expectations!! Breakfast is fantastic, staff are very professional. The staff in the lobby bar are a credit to the Cavendish and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very nice...the bed has to be the comfiest bed I have ever slept in!! The complimentary bottle of champagne and birthday cake was a lovely gesture, thank you!! Bags can be left free of charge if you have time at the end of your stay to continue to explore London. A very enjoyable stay, will definately recommend to friends, and come back to stay when we return to London!!

Very central very safe location. A bit pricey considering the size of the rooms but this can be forgiven.
Breakfast great however we went for brekkie the first morning at 10 which was stopping at 10.30 and were a bit rushed with them saying they were closing parts of the buffet.
Did not sleep great here with the noise of sirens etc out on the street but then it is central london
Gym vouchers can be purchased at reception and it's only a couple of mins walk there.

Thank you very much for your good review and I am glad that you really liked the location. Thank you for your comments about breakfast and I will speak to the team to ensure that they do not make our guests feel that we are chasing them away even when breakfast is closing as that is not the service that we try and deliver.

I hope that we can welcome you back on your next visit to London.

Not my favourite places London Hotels and only stayed overnight for a Theatre visit but this Hotel exceeded my expectations.
I have never encountered staff so genuinely trying to make our stay a pleasant one, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
This will certainly be my first choice Hotel for future visits.

Room Tip: We found 1109 to our satisfaction with a roof top view, not much of a view but better than some.

Had a short stay at the Cavendish i January but we will be back. The location is pfect, in the centerr of everything but still a quiet and cosy place. The rooms are not large, but qiet, the beds are good and the bathroom well equipped. The service is super, kind staff. Large and excellent breakfast buffet, but a bit prisy if you haven't got it incl. The prize for the room, but the are several breakfast possibilities just round the corner.
