We had a really comfortable stay at the Cavendish. Everything from check in to checking out went very smoothly and the concierge was very helpful in booking theatre tickets and getting a taxi for us on departure.. the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. The hotel was ideal for walking to the theatres and down to Westminster Bridge and surrounding attractions. Lovely parks were also nearby, and of course Fortnum & Mason's just across the road.

After looking through hundreds hotel websites, we were really impressed by the hotel decor and its amazing location to every attraction we wanted to see, were then further amazed at the price as everything else we had looked at were charging almost double! After being greeted at the door and our suitcases taken off us we were swiftly checked in and in our rooms ( which were ready early). The decor was amazing with superb views across the London skyline, it was clean with luxurious White Company toiletries. We would defiantly be coming here again and will have no problems recommending it to friends, thank you for making my birthday weekend more amazing!

Room Tip: Ask for one higher up to get the best views.

Recently stayed for 4 nights, room clean and comfortable, staff very friendly. If you like a big breakfast this is definitely the place for you. Our only gripe was the street noise in the early hours of Sunday morning, overall a lovely hotel and we hope to return in the future if my credit card can cope with the nearby shoe shops.....

Stayed with our daughter and her friend on Friday for a theatre visit. Perfect location being easily accessible by tube. Very disappointed with the bar which didn't look as though the floor had been cleaned for some time with peanuts scattered around, and all bar staff huddled round the corner chatting rather than looking after customers.

Thank you very much for your review and feedback. I am delighted that you liked the hotel and the location however very disappointed about your bar experience as I can assure you that this is not the level of service we should be offering. I have forwarded your feedback to Stephanie our Bar Supervisor who will follow up with the team.

Recommended by our travel counsellor. We stayed one night for a business trip. The hotel is perfectly located. The reception staff and all very pleasant and efficient as was the housekeeper. All very clean and comfortable. We would definately stay again. Perfect for Piccadilly, Regent Street, Royal Academy, wonderful shops on the doorstep on Jermyn Street. Fortnum and Mason round the corner. Nothing was too much trouble and felt very well looked after. Breakfast room not well lit - staff friendly. The choice was good. Tea served was very weak tea so changed to coffee which was ok. Not great. These are minor points as we were very pleased overall with this hotel and would return without hesitation.

Room Tip: As with all London hotels it is worth checking room size. Our classic room was adequate for one nigh...

We stayed in this hotel last weekend and can honestly say we don't have any negative comments at all! The hotel was immaculate, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was just fantastic. And to top things off they sent a birthday cake to the room when they found out we were visiting London to celebrate my birthday. Thanks to the whole team and we will definitely return.

We stayed here over the Christmas period for 6 nights and the hotel was wonderful. Check-in was very fast and staff were friendly. We were assigned to a corner superior room which was larger in size than what I expected. The room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping was very prompt everyday. We did not expect to receive a champagne with chocolates on our arrival and certainly enjoyed the special treat.
Location of the hotel is brilliant, right beside Fortnum and Mason and within walking distance to all the major shopping districts (5 mins to Piccadilly Circus, 10 mins to Leicester Square, 20 mins to Covent Garden, 20 mins to Oxford Street). Of course, you can always take the tube which is a 5 minutes walk away if walking is not for you.
Breakfast was great initially, but after eating the same food for 4-5 days we got a little sick of the lack of variety. On our last day, there seemed to also be a long queue to get into the restaurant for breakfast, something that we did not encounter during the other days.
Nonetheless, would still recommend this hotel and certainly be back to stay on our next trip!
