We stayed one night at the Cavendish for our 8th wedding anniversary. We booked it based on reviews and we can only agree with all the positive reviews we had read. Our room, 915, was big and light, and had an amazing view over the London Eye, Big Ben, and the Palace of Westminster. Two wonderful surprises from management greeted us in our room and these personal touches certainly add to our happy memories of our stay. It is a big hotel, but feels very small and cosy and from start to finish we were very well taken care of. We did not use the restaurant or bars. Highly recommended and we would stay here again. The location is great too.

I visited THe Cavendish last summer for three nights. The hotel was wonderfully clean and the rooms were a good size for London. We had a fabulous view over the BT Tower. Breakfast was good value with a good selection of additional items on an individual menu that could be brought to the table. The staff were alll very friendly, and the hotel was in a good location (just next to fortum and masons). Would definitely choose this hotel again if I ever return to London.

Room Tip: ASk for a room on a higher floor so you can get a good view of the city

I am going to put this simple. After a fair bit of research booked this hotel for our three day city break.

Unbelievable location, don't think you can get much better, less than 5 min walk to tube station, shops, bars, restaurants and cafés everywhere nearby. Short walk to Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.

Room was amazing and huge, I am 6ft and could lie horizontal across the bed without hanging off the edges.

Ask for a room with a view and they deliver, Big Ben, Parliament, Millennium Wheel, The Shard, The Gherkin all but some of the things we could see from the room.

Friendly helpful smiley staff giving a warm atmosphere to your welcome.

If you are undecided and viewing a few hotels book this one, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed only one night at this hotel, but the room was quite nice - if you are an American be ready for the small bathroom and half shower wall in the bath. Fixtures were modern and new, but it's a bath tub with 1/2 glass wall near shower nozzle so you get water everywhere and the mirror in the bathroom is pretty small - ok for one or two nights, but maybe not for a long stay if you are sharing room with your spouse or a friend. The bar in the lobby made amazing cocktails! The staff was very nice and accommodating. The location is really nice if you enjoy walking to dinner and enjoying a gorgeous section of London! Comfy bed for Europe too!

Room Tip: Enjoy a cocktail from the lobby bar! Better than most of the high end restaurants!

Enjoyed my short stay, lots of nice little touches: face towels, a complimentary bottle of water at bedside - nice not to be charged for such a basic human comfort. Excellent bed, bedding, towels. Very clean. Strong WiFi signal.
I experienced only friendly staff people. Not my absolute favorite London area, but I will return for the comfort and nice details at Cavendish.

We loved afternoon tea! Great location, comfortable beds, clean, quiet rooms, easy WiFi, and helpful staff, so we were pleased! The local shopping and dining were great and we could walk to most of the sights we wanted to see and take an easy train trip to the rest. We will stay here again :)

Room Tip: We took an upgrade and our room was a nice size on an upper floor. We had a great view & it was...
