“Luxury Small Hotel - will be back I hope”

Having been to Dukes for good drinks and good dinner in the past, I was keen to see how it shaped up as a luxury hotel. It was a great experience of staying for two nights & met my expectations. Danelli from reception gave us a personal tour of the building, and everyone at the hotel was keen to ensure that we had a great stay. The sit down bar is classy and famous for its martini cocktails, and the two bar waiters are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable (be aware that a jacket or long sleeves are required in the bar). Great selection of martini cocktails, but reserve a table if going between 17:30 and 19:30 on a weeknight, as it's popular with local business people. The traditional elevator, with manually operated doors and a seat inside was a hit (there is also a modern elevator). Our room was on the top floor, and was nicely furnished, with nice traditional touches, such as a woollen blanket between two sheets instead of a duvet, and heavy bathrobes. WiFi is free, the TV based entertainment is good, and the minibar well stocked. Overall, we had a really good time, and I would have no hesitation in staying here again, at the right price.

We had an overnight in London waiting for an international flight so The Dukes was the obvious choice for us as we had been there before. And that famous martini bar helped too. But it is within easy walking distance of Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Square. We watched the Queens Birthday changing of the guards on Easter Monday. It everything a small Relais hotel should be.

Very good room and the service and food was excellent. The staff seemed to easily anticipate our requests for assistance finding our way around London and getting us to the airport on time and with the best of comfort and cost.
Breakfasts were a treat; try the Eggs Benedict with freshly made hollandaise each day.

One of the nicest boutique hotel! Hotel staff remembers your name after checking in! They have a hotel guest only hang out room where you can get food service 24/7 which is pretty cool. Room are slightly on the smaller end, but is very clean. This place has the most famous martini bar in London, a must try!!!

Great location, Fab hotel with a cool bar and a amazing resturant and staff that do! I ate in the restaurant and had probably the best food I have eaten in a hotel!!! The waiting staff were proud of the food
look forward to going back.

excellent repeated experience whether for business or leisure. nice rooms and perfect staff
Price wise quite fair.highly recommended. very good breakfast

Everything that could be said about The Dukes Hotel in London is frankly extremely positive.

From the convenient location to the quality of its premises, from the comfort of its suites and rooms to the privacy of this enchanting boutique luxury hotel, everything at The Dukes is extraordinary and unique. But moreover what really makes the major difference and places the Dukes Hotel in the top tier band is the quality, professionalism and charming personality of all its staff. They are all delighted to run the extra mile to make you feel at home and treated like a "duke".

Management, reception staff, porters, butlers, room service, restaurant team and of course the people at the famous and unforgettable bar, all my gratitude goes to them.

And it goes without saying that we will be back as soon as we can.
