Excellent customer service delivered by friendly and dedicated staff. The hotels free wifi is excellent. Although the single rooms can sometimes be cramped and not particularly comfortable, the TV sets also default to subtitles which are not always easy to turn off! The range and quality of food is superb.

Dear Carlos,

Thank you for your great review. We are very happy to learn that you enjoyed our service here at the hotel. We hope you understand that in historic buildings like ours in the center of London, things can get a little tight but we are happy that you enjoyed your stay!

We hope to see you again soon for a stay and maybe to sample some more of our delicious dishes.

Warm regards,

Tom

We chose this hotel for its location just 5 minutes from Natural History museum along the same road. So easy to get to after landing at Heathrow airport via the Piccadilly underground line then just a couple of minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube station which is also handy for getting into central London sightseeing. Good sized comfortable family room, good shower with plenty hot water, breakfast included in our deal which to be fair was less than some other hotels in the area. Staff all very friendly, cosy bar area for a drink at night and a nice touch upon check-in to be provided with a drink voucher for £12.50. An easy check-in and out process too. Just a couple of points, it might be an idea if the hotel introduced those individual cereal packets giving both kids and adults more cereal choice instead of the two baskets of cheaper non-branded corn/bran flakes and for those little bottles of milk to be in/on a chiller; we prefer milk for cereal to be cold straight from the fridge or at least well chilled. Thanks again for looking after us, we'd definitely come back and recommend to friends.

I stayed here almost weekly for a couple of nights a week for over a year on business.

Location is great - extremely handy for Gloucester Road Tube, restaurants, Waitrose, Hyde Park, Kensington High Street, Virgin club etc

Rooms are quiet , comfortable and breakfast of a high standard.

Will always look to use for future trips.

I stay here quite often when in London for meetings, even though I could stay closer to work. It is a well appointed hotel, like all hotels in the Radisson group, and very close to direct Tube lines to Heathrow and Central London. Free wifi is offered which, given the price some hotels charge, is a welcome bonus. Most of all, though, it has a very welcoming atmosphere and a very dedicated staff. It has a much better feel than many of the impersonal hotels you often find in city centres. I recommend it warmly.

We arrived early and were told that we could check in no problem, we were offfered a choice of rooms double or twin on our arrival. Whilst checking in the young lady on reception asked us about our stay and we informed her we were celebrating 25years of marriage and also a birthday. We went out for a walk around the area after checking in and on returning to our room there were roses on the bed a card on the side and roses in a round the room and bathroom which was a very nice touch on the hotel's part. Our room was lovely and clean with beds turned down, the bathroom had plenty of bathroom goodies, (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shower cap, cotton buds, ear buds) what more could you ask for, the hotel was spotless and clean, we had breakfast both morning and there was plenty of choice and we were looked after nothing was too much trouble, we did eat a evening meal on one night and the food was excellent, I had Lancashire hotpot (I come from Lancashire and I can say that in London it was the best Lancashire hotpot I have ever tasted. I would recommend this hotel to anybody and I will would not hesitate on returning.

Room Tip: just ask at reception they were very nice and gave us a choice.

Dear Guest,

Thank you so very much for a fantastic review! We are thrilled that you chose to spend your 25th anniversary here with us and we sincerely hope your personalized room decor showed our appreciation and happiness for you both.

I am also happy to learn that you enjoyed our breakfast, they say that it is a rather important meal but to have a Lancastrian compliment our Lancashire hotpot is amazing.

We very much look forward to welcoming you back.

Warm regards,

Tom

Arrived here after a horrendous tube journey (not the hotels fault, down to a tube strike!). Checkin was a little odd, my confirmation had stated "deluxe standard room", so i had assumed this was a deluxe room. Turns out this wasnt what i had booked. I asked about an upgrade for y Gold status to be told first that there was NO availability, then that better rooms WERE available, but only at a fee. NO acknowledgement of status, no welcome gift, no upgrade, nothing,

Having paid almost £200 a night, i was surprised to be told i had booked the least good room type.

I was shown to (even by London standards) a TINY room with poor furnishings. I didnt have time to go to FD to sort anything out, as i had people waiting for me. I arrived back post midnight, and simply hit the hay.

Upon going to FD the next morning, the receptionist on duty actually took ownership of this well, She arranged to move to a larger room, arranged a welcome drink voucher and was more than helpful.

I recieved a calltoday from guest relations asking about problem, and have been assured i wil be looked after on next trip. As it happens, my next trip is tomorrow, so i have rebooked, and will see how it pans out !

Pros ; VERY close to tube, accessible as a result, but not for disabled. Nice room (second one), facilities ok, free wifi.

Cons : A bit disorganised, building type leads to a MAZE of corridors. Only one lift (and confusing directions). Hit and miss staff quality.

Room Tip: Rooms facing road are quite noisy, if you prefer quiet, ask for rear facing rooms
