I recently stayed at the Egerton House during business in London and thought it only right to share my experiences. The hotel is a town house type building literally around the corner from The V&A Museum and Harrods. You are met by a wonderfully decorated building with log effect fire in Reception and the check in staff are friendly, attentive and very professional. There is a lovely leather and wall panelled bar with Residents Lounge the hotel is presented beautifully and is a credit to the Housekeeping and Maintenance Staff. Annie the Deputy GM is a gem very friendly and genuinely interested in your stay and experiences, The attention to detail in the rooms and how the hotel deals with you is above and beyond anything I have encountered even in the best Hotels in Dubai etc. I have to admit I had never heard of RCH Hotels before staying at the Egerton House but will most certainly be looking out for them in the future. The hotel is like you imagine great Old British Hotels to have been in service and presentation and I for one thought it was lost, it turns out RCH Hotels have continued the tradition. Also well done to Annie and her staff at Egerton House its a credit to you all.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are presented beautifully

Dear Guest,

It was a great pleasure to welcome you to The Egerton House Hotel and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It is so lovely to hear that you loved the location, decor and of course the glowing fire which gives the hotel a very cosy and welcoming feeling on arrival.

I am also delighted that you found the staff at check in very attentive and friendly and that you managed to visit our delightful bar. We are very a dedicated team who work together to make sure that we provide the highest possible standards of service to all our guests so thank you for the recognition. My wife and I had a lovely three-day stay this week. It wasn't a holiday break unfortunately, but for a hospital visit. All the staff were ever so kind and attentive and made our time at the hotel very relaxing in what was for us difficult circumstances. Although just off the main road, the ambience is very quiet and peaceful which is just what we like. The customer service is genuinely friendly and sincere - such a welcome change to the 'have a nice day' fakery of many hotels. Thanks to all concerned, we will be back, most definitely.

We celebrated a 50th birthday at the Egerton last week and it was phenomenal. Words really cannot do the place justice but to attempt - the food is fantastic, the rooms are incredible and the service is like nowhere else in London. This place puts hotels like the Ritz and the Dorchester to shame. The deputy manager personally greeted us and wished us a nice stay - she was so welcoming and genuine which is such a rarity these days! She was even trying to help me nurse my hangover the next morning - after one to many of Antonio's martinis. I have never returned to a hotel before but cannot wait to go back to the Egerton House! Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff and see you soon :-)

Dear Guest,

It was a great pleasure taking care of you during your 50th birthday celebrations and I am thrilled that you thought your stay to be phenomenal. It is so nice to hear that you the food was fantastic, the rooms incredible and the service like nowhere else in London. I have passed your kind words to everyone but especially Annie who takes immense pleasure in looking after our guests before during and after their visits. Antonio’s martini’s are lethal but they are a must if you stay at The Egerton so I am pleased that you got to try one or two.

We look forward to welcoming you back on a future visit and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts of your visit on the site.

Egerton House Hotel is our London gem. Not only is its location excellent (around the corner from the Knightsbridge and South Kensington shops and restaurants plus the V&A, the Science and Natural History museums and the Royal Albert Hall as well as a short walk to 3 lines of the tube) but the amenities and comforts offered are exceptional. Beds are comfortable, rooms well appointed with traditional English "clutter" (each is unique) and daily fruit, short-bread & biscuits, tea making facilities, TV/cable channels, newspapers, bathroom supplies are all what you'd expect from a first-class hotel. The lounge is charming and the food quality in it (24 hours) and for breakfast is commendable. Over and above all this, however, what sets this property apart for us is the friendliness, helpfulness, "can-do" attitude and efficiency of the entire team. Egerton House offers a hotel experience that is the opposite of a bland, international, impersonal hotel; it is our London "home away from home".

Room Tip: Rooms are unique, if a little tight. Enjoy each one.

Dear Guest,

We are always delighted to welcome you back to your London home and thank you for your delightful review of your stay with us. It is always our great pleasure taking care of you both. We are in a fantastic location close to the wonderful shops on Brompton Road and within walking distance of Harrods, Harvey Nichols, South Kensington and Knightsbridge tube stations not forgetting many museums.

I am delighted that you feel that the amenities and comforts offered are exceptional, that the beds are comfortable and rooms well appointed and that you felt that we supplied everything that is expected from a first class Hotel. We certainly do try to think of everything that our guests will need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. if you want to be treated like a queen this is the place to be. Everybody could not be more helpful and kind. Small hotel with enormous charm. Next time in London I will sure repeat. The room wasn't too big but I would not have changed it for any other.
