Another Red Carnation gem! Having previously stayed at 41, The Chesterfield, Montague on the Gardens & The Milestone we had great expectaions of our weekend visit. We were not disappointed the personal service from the moment we arrived was outstanding, Every single member of staff we encountered was wonderfully professional and all were clearly committed to providing a personal service of the highest standard. Our room was a delight, the food exceptional (always pamper yourself with breakfast in bed) and the bar a thoroughly relaxing area of calmness. True Red Carnation hotels are not, by any standards, inexpensive but if you want a real treat and a five star experience they cannot be bettered.

Thanks to all the staff once again and in comparison to the other hotels in the group Egerton is number 1.

Great location to seeing London by walk, quite and prestigious location, rooms are designed, breakfast and waiters are great.
Some small details doesn't allow hotel to be considered as 5 star hotel:
-undertrained personal (front desk missed guests complaints, cleaners/couriers are very unkindly;
- some bathroom equipment was fixed by not qualified technician and look awkwardly;
- rooms are small, but night table lamp are huge so takes space a lot.

Nice everything. We were checking in at the last minute so we had the last room available which was smaller than what we wanted but we have no complaints. Great service, excellent breakfast, fabulous tea tray and unforgettable bar service. The location is close to Harrods, several museums and lots of restaurants and shopping.

I stayed at Egerton House (for the first time) for 4 nights in November 2010 - what a lovely, welcoming place it is. It's posh without being pretentious; the room (I was in a Deluxe King) was SO comfortable; and the staff is exceptional.
Even though the hotel is just off the busy Brompton Road, the hotel has the cozy feel of a luxe home that's tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I've been telling friends that staying at Egerton House is like having a wealthy aunt who's given you the run of her lovely townhouse while she is away, and left her amazingly accommodating staff in place to take perfect care of you.
Don't skip the killer martinis served up by the charming Antonio in the bar !

My partner and I just returned from a week at the Egerton House Hotel. It was a mixed travel schedule with myself on business and my partner on leisure, however we both felt equally at home at the Egerton.

From the comfortable, upscale surroundings to the discreet but always helpful service, the Egerton found that delicate balance so rarely achieved in small boutique properties. The location is ideal located between two tube stops and of course the posh shops of Brompton Road are on your doorstep.

Breakfast is a fairly sumptuous deal, but the cocktails in the stylish pocket bar will either kill you or cure you. The smoothest martinis you’ll ever taste with a service flair that’s second to none. For those less alcoholically inclined, the afternoon tea is delicious – great assortment and not the usual watercress and cucumber bits. Though Rosewater macaroons? May want to rethink that.

All in all, the Egerton proved to be our new home away from home in London. The staff were all a notch above expectations, but a special mention goes out to the tireless Esse and his multiple shifts and Deputy GM Annie, the vivacious island of serenity in the sea of chaos, who made what could have been a bad thing so right for her guests. They make this Red Carnation hotel a true English rose.

a wonderful and warm boutique hotel, the exact oppposite of the usual cold design boutique hotels with even colder staff . Beautifully decorated rooms, very polite and attentive staff, amazing room service, all these combined with a touch of elegance and luxury.

My husband, 17 year old daughter and myself stayed here for 4 nights. The Tripadvisor reviews I had read were so true. Everything was wonderful. The staff was top-notch, very kind and helpful. The rooms were lovely, well-equipped, and a nice size. My daughter and I had tea on a couple occasions and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere in front of the fire. The location is ideal. It was great to be in Knightsbridge because my husband wasn't with us for the whole stay and the department stores, museums, restaurants, and parks were conveniently in walking distance. (The tube is also just a 5 minute walk.) We look forward to staying at the Egerton on future London visits.
