Booked at this serviced apartment in February 2014 and overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Response rate of the reservations office was very good. Although there was some confusion regarding the rates, things werer properly sorted out in the end.

This serviced apartment is a stone's throw away from the Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert and Royal Albert Hall. Harrods and shopping about 10 minutes walk. It has 2 tube stations, Gloucester Road and South Kensington Station, about 5 minutes walk to each station. Along bus routes and there is a taxi line beside South Kensington Station. Tesco and Waitrose groceries; Pauls pastry shop, as you get out of Gloucester Road station. Paul's, Jia Chinese restaurant as you get out of South Kensington station.

Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping good and quick to make up the rooms. We had a compact one-bed apartment, complete with stove, utensils, ref, electric kettle, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher. There were just a couple of times when we had to ask housekeeping to refill the kitchen with sugar and tablets for the dishwasher.

Our friends were also very happy with their large one bedroom apartment (with a courtyard) and a large studio.

Would definitely go back to 130 Queens Gate

Room Tip: Ask for large one bed studio on ground floor or large one bed with courtyard or balcony on lower gr...

I am a very fussy and demanding person and a stickler for detail. I expect my short stay apartment to be as pleasant as my home and hopefully better. I have vacationed in more places in London than I care to mention and have become something of an expert in such matters!! Having been a habitual Knightsbridge occupant I was reluctant to venture out to South Kensington-albeit that they are technically one and the same. As sceptical as I was “130 Queensgate” turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The staff are exceptionally charming and friendly, ever willing to go above the call of duty to be of assistance-no fussy demand is too much and no request too trivial. The rooms are delightful-spotless, spacious and tastefully furnished in a contemporary finish. I even had a patio! I was made to feel at home, always welcomed with a friendly greeting, there was no one rushing me out of my room as the cleaners are on call for much longer than any of the other places I have stayed. Whilst super friendly the staff are professional, unobtrusive and mindful of one’s privacy.130 Queensgate is a quiet, relaxing peaceful environment where everything runs like clockwork and nothing is left to chance; every need has been anticipated, allowing the guest to fully enjoy their stay without having to worry about a thing. The security is excellent and there is a corner shop next door open twenty four hours a day. The area is within walking distance from Brompton road and the local amenities and quirky restaurants which provide a French Quarter kind of feel mean one never has to dine in the same place twice! I have now stayed at 130 Queensgate on two occasions and would recommend it to anyone who has high standards and wants a five star experience with a home away from home feel. My last stay was for a whole month and I simply cannot say enough about it……...except of course what unbelievable value it is comparatively!!!! Once you have stayed there you will never have to bother trawling through the luxury/boutique hotel websites searching for another place!

We have stayed here twice and both times were fabulous. It feels like our home away from home. The location is great; close to 2 tube stations and many shops and restaurants. The staff is amazing and feels like family. Highly recommend!

I spent the Christmas and new years with family over at Queens Gate and it was just perfect for our stay. All the facilities of home in the form of a luxurious hotel. Location is just fantastic with access to two very central tube stations near by, good restaurants and enough supermarkets to buy everything you might require. Walking distance to Knightsbridge (Harrods, Sloane street, Parks, museums etcetera). Well equipped apartments which are cleaned almost daily. A few minor issues prevented me from giving it the five stars it should deserve and prevents it from a 5 star hotel standards. 1, Toiletries and water/tea/coffee are not replenished so please buy yours from the supermarket or don't expect any. We ran out of tissue paper a few times and while the staff were happy to provide, having to ring up reception to ask for tissue paper doesn't exactly ring 5*. I would also suggest extra towels and blankets are kept in the room especially on the once a week where light cleaning only is provided. 2. Our apartment, a deluxe apartment (504) had unsightly stains on the roof in the bedroom (probably from a water leakage). Whatever it is management should get rid of it. It wasn't too bad but my son didn't like starring at it. Other than these apartments are great. Well cleaned and spacious and look really nice plus daily newspapers are provided and a decent gym as well. Wifi was more than adequate. Proper home away from home and i would happily stay here again. Reception staff were not in your face yet very helpful and it is very safe. It feels like your own home/flat in London with 24 hour concierge if you know what i mean. Bathroom had a very nice Jacuzzi.

Room Tip: Deluxe apartments are highly recommended.

I do a fair amount of international traveling both for business and pleasure. This particular trip was for pleasure. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment that we rented for a week was quite spacious and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful, professional and friendly. It is in a good location, being near 2 underground stations, shops and very good restaurants and pubs. Our daughter lives and works in London and we plan to stay at 130 Queen's Gate Apartments whenever we come to London to visit her.

Room Tip: When I travel for pleasure, I need lots of space and comfortable rooms and this establishment delive...

I stayed here with my friend and her family a few years ago. We rented 2 apartments and they were lovely...friendly concierge staff. I left before my friend and her family and one of the staff carried my luggage to the nearest bus/taxi area to Heathrow. Close to museums and good restaurants.

Recently stayed at 130 Queen's Gate Apartments in a one bedroom deluxe.
Unit was spacious, clean and quiet. Staff is quite friendly and helpful.
Kitchen was small but sufficient and well equipped with a large fridge and freezer however a coffee machine would be a great addition. Only issue was the fridge had an odour from the previous guest but it was clean so just a matter of time for the odour to dissipate.
Windows are single pane and rattled a bit with the strong winds but otherwise street noise wasn't an issue although it should be noted we were on a higher floor.
Would be great if the hotel provided or sold single use packets for the washing machine and dishwasher for short stays but we were able to purchase some at the local store.
Great place in a great location [close to tube station and good restaurants] and would happily stay here again.
