If you want a hotel in a safe area with not far to walk to buses or tubes this is a great choice. It is 2 minutes away from Earls Court Tube and there are lots of pubs and resturants in the area. The rooms are on the small size, as was the bathroom and there were areas ready for a slight refurb but the room was very clean and our stay was enjoyable. There was a little noise, but we had an opera singer in the next room, warming up her voice which was amusing to hear. The staff were excellent and very helpful plus the positives definitely outweighed the negatives.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room away from the lifts

We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights to accomodate our family of five. Both were on the same floor and at the back of the building and were nice and quiet. We arrived earlier than expected and were fortunate to be able to check into our rooms at 11.30am as both happened to be ready. The location near Earls Court tube station was great, although it only took 20/25 mins to walk to the science and natural history museum. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We had full English breakfasts; this was cooked promptly. We would stay here again.

A conveniently situated hotel, a few minutes walk from Earls Court Station with a good selection of eateries in the vicinity.
The room was comfortable and nicely equipped and there is a small bar. The english breakfast was good and and there was plenty staff on hand to look after you.
All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful which always makes the hotel stays better.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

I stayed at the hotel for one night by myself during February half term. Nice, comfortable room, though with creaky floor and next to the lift, which had noisy doors. Barkston Gardens a nice street a stone's throw from Earl's Court tube station, right on the border of zones 1 and 2, so easy access to centre of London. Plenty of shops and restaurants along the high street. Restaurant and bar comfortable with lovely food, which also does room service. Delicious buffet continental breakfast with English breakfast options to order, along with juice, tea and coffee. Kensington a lovely area - definitely check out the architecture of some of the Georgian and Regency style buildings. Close attractions include Natural History Museum, the V&A, Science Museum and Hyde Park, all within walking distance. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Just one tip, though - get a taxi to the hotel because the tube is murder with even a small suitcase!

Room Tip: Best view at front of hotel and quieter away from the lift.
