This is an a-typical Premier Inn on a very good location. With 4 minutes walk from the station Ravenscourt (District Line) it’s very convenient when departing from Heathrow Airport.
The building itself doesn’t seem to be very well designed for hotel purposes. I wouldn’t be surprised if this premise was used for office purposes in the past. The room was very small. I’ve never experienced such a small room in a Premier Inn (picture). The walls seems to made of cardboard, we could hear our neighbours speak and two out of four days we were ‘lucky’ to be awaked early in the morning by a singing kid staying in one of the adjacent rooms.
External sounds also managed to get in even on the 10th floor where we stayed. This was caused by the second window, which couldn’t be closed completely by purpose due to the fresh air circulation. Effectively there was only one window to keep the noise away. Staff apologized for this but couldn’t do anything to reduce traffic noise. But to be honest, sleeping with earplugs solves the problem but that’s not the way I prefer to sleep.
The shower work properly but, again, sound problems arose. Turning on the cold-water triggers ‘something’ beyond the ceiling, which sounds as an very loud air raid. It must have alarmed all the neighbours for sure. On top of the water pressure was pulsating permanently. Very irritating and impossible to solve unless turning the crane fully to hot water which was impossible to stand.
So branding an “office” building with some purple Premier Inn logos and purple walls doesn’t transform it to the standard that meet travellers expectations with this hotel brand.

Our family (with two young kids) spent our Christmas in this hotel (24-26/12). We have been staying several Premier Inn hotels during our trip to London. Excellent staff service in every aspect in all other hotels except the check-in staff in this one. We arrived at 1.30pm, the man behind the reception seemed unhappy for our early arrival (check-in time is 2.00pm), and asked us to wait for 30 minutes, while during roughly the same time, he checked in two young ladies who arrived before us, and an old couple after us. After the clock ticked 2.00 pm, I again requested for check-in, the man still seemed reluctant to check us in. He did not bother to talk to us, even when I greeted him and say 'thank you very much' to him when check-in completed, he did not bother to say a word! I feel this is so un-professional, particularly in Christmas Eve and our family chose to celebrate the moment at his hotel, he said "Merry Christmas" to other customers but not to us, I don't understand why? We regret staying at this hotel, because we did not feel welcomed. Nevertheless, the staff members served breakfast at the restaurants were happy people, they were so lovely! I would like to say 'Thank you' again here. Overall, our experience was mixed.
The room is OK (some Premier Inn rooms in London City area are better), but you can have a very good view of the surrounding area, as the hotel seems to be the tallest building in that of part of London.
The location is very good, just off the underground station, opposite the hotel, there is a park with excellent playgrounds, particularly suitable for family with kids.

I would rate this hotel higher definitely if it had not been for the dreadful loud noise in our room all night - like a 'roaring' noise in the walls and maybe due to the weather. Surely a hotel can fix the walls or windows to ensure such racket does not enter the room? Premier Inns are not the most expensive I know but even at a cheaper price one books a hotel for a good sleep and comfort. Myself and my teenage daughter were surprised at how loud the noise was in the room and the window was shut etc (double glazing it seems and still loud noise).

The heating was impossible to fathom on a fiddly dial affair which we tried to get to turn on but failed. For both issues we could have rung reception but it was after 11pm when we checked in to we were too tired to start having to move rooms maybe or wait for staff to look at the heating.

For the money, if the noise and heating had been ok it was good value and although not that centrally located, ok for our needs.

On top of all that I found out in their after-stay survey that a person is not meant to pay if the stay is not good but we already have!!!

Very easy to find if not driving, literally 5 minutes from underground, you can actually see it as you approach the tube stop. Staff very friendly and check in was smooth. Rooms were clean, bath tub on the small side if you are taller that 5ft I suggest you opt for a shower, as I am 5' 1" and I just about managed to fit in the bath. Enjoyable stay. Did not eat in the hotel as meals a bit pricey, but lots of restaurants and fast food places on King Street. We had a few meals in the 2 Weatherspoons. The one near Hammersmith tube is better that the one near the Holiday Inn.

I will definitely be going back

An excellent hotel very near the tube for access to central London. Very friendly and helpful staff made us welcome. The meal deal was very good value as was the children's menu. My son was impressed that he could have steak and chips like his Dad.
