It is OK but below average for a Hilton. Doesn't even have a fitness room or a swimming pool. Many rooms are small and have no bathtubs only a shower and very little room to move around .

Was attending a conference at the Business Design Centre and the Hilton could not have been more convenient - just a few yards away from the front doors. My room was spotless, well appointed and ideal for my requirements. Although there were a couple of notepads provided by the telephones there were no pens or pencils supplied - maybe a small oversight. WiFi was a bit touchy with a slightly awkward interface, which in this day and age I found clunky and not totally reliable.

Room Tip: No real preference....

Thank you for sharing your thoughts of the hotel with us. I am glad that the location was convenient for your stay and you found the rooms spotless. Please accept my apologise for the shortfall in service with the pens and internet, we do provide pens with the notepads however this was a slight oversight and I am pleased to advise you that we have just recently added 23 extra wifi access points around the hotel, and are in the process of increasing the band width from 10 mb to 20 mb which will improve the quality and speed of connection.

We hope to welcome you back in the not too distant future

Kind regards

Location : 5-10 minute-walk from Angel Tube, next door to the Business Design Center, taxi was 10 GBP from Euston station and a booked taxi for Heathrow airport was 40 GBP. My first time staying in Islington, quite liked it, less tourists, a self-contain area with loads of places to eat ; Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai, etc., M&S, Sainsbury, Tesco, almost next door
Hotel : 4 floor-high, lobby and corridor were small and dark, not very welcoming decor, fast lifts
Room : newly renovated room, bright, tasteful decor, very big for London, queen bed, big armchair with side table, work desk and chair, big cupboard, a safe, minibar, tea, coffee, a free bottle of mineral water everyday, fridge, electric outlets everywhere, everything seemed new and in good condition
Bathroom : big and bright, all marble decor, so quite cold in there after a shower, bathrobe, slipper, towel, shower gel, shampoo, all were really nice
Wifi : free but slow (you can pay for the faster one.)
Staff : no problem with any of them, they let me store the luggage after check out until 6.00 pm
Rate : normal rate is too expensive for a tourist like me but I booked well in advance and got 500 GBP for 4 nights.

Room Tip: This is a business hotel but I would highly recommend it for a tourist, if you know London quite a b...

Some years ago, I had been in this hotel and I had liked a lot. Thus, I was afraid about the possibility of find an old hotel requiring refurbishment. However, I was wrong. The hotel is even better than in the past. Rooms are very comfortable and so is the bathroom. In fact, the bathroom is the best part. In my room (535), there was no bath, only a shower. Thanks God. Has anybody ever taken a bath instead of a shower in a hotel? Well, I have never. And, in the presence of the bath – people over 50 like me – can face an accident jumping in and out of it. In others words, the absence of a bath makes me feel more safety. The hotel is tidy and clean and the breakfast very good. There is free internet in the lobby and in the rooms with a convenient speed, if you want to read e-mails, newspapers and so on. If one needs something faster, there is an extra charge. In the neighbourhood there are many bars, restaurants, supermarkets (Waitrose and Sainsbury) and the Arsenal Stadium. The nearest tube stations is Angel (two blocks away). Disadvantage: There are no fitness center (there is not swimming pool either). Advantage: the staff (Rita, Anne, Tovarish Igor, Pietra and Matteo). All of them polite, friendly and competent.

Located just a short walk from Angel tube and opposite Camden Passage Antique area, and also very close to Chapel Market. The staff and service are both excellent as you would expect from a Hilton. The room we had was not massive but had everything you needed and was modern clean and comfortable. Free Wifi throughout the hotel is a great deal. Whilst you cannot describe it as a flagship Hilton it achieves what it sets out to and I would recommend a stay.

Room Tip: There are four floors ask for a room at the front on the 4th. Views of the Gherkin, Shard etc, not m...

We stayed 1 night we got a decent rate on the room. It is conveniently located near the angel tube station. There are a few bars in between the 2 places. The room itself was the usual bed, tv, work desk. The bathroom was nice and the shower was great. For London prices it wasnt to bad but if I could get a hotel for a cheaper price I wouldn't stay here. The staff seemed friendly enough but I struggled to understand what they were saying. Overall a happy enough stay

We paid the best part of £300 for 2 nights (no breakfast)and as you would expect the room, though not very big, was to a high standard of furnishings, comfort and cleanliness. The shower room (no bath) was modern and very nice. The only gripe is that a bottle of water in the room cost £3.50 - we bought our own - whereas in other hotels of a similar standard it would, and should in my opinion, be free. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, and seeing my husband on crutches after surgery, the young woman behind the desk asked where we were going for the day. We said the British museum via the tube, and she gave us precise details of the bus routes we could take which was much, much easier and just as quick (it was Sunday, however). Would stay there again, definitely.
