“Excellent customer service!”
Reviewed 13 February 2014 via mobile

Great stay! Stayed for one night for business and customer service was brilliant.
Reception we're cheerful and helpful. The welcomers were friendly and helpful.

Pool facilities were a little dated and could do with a refresh, but appears from that good breakfast, comfortable room/bed and a lovely stay.

6 of us stayed in the Marriot at the weekend. It was really nice, the staff were incredibly helpful, the breakfast was lovely and the rooms were good. We got 3 rooms with 2 double beds each so lots of comfort. We didn't get to use the leisure centre but that looked nice too. A really good gluten free breakfast was presented on request and the chef could not have done enough. Excellent service overall. The only downside was that the drinks in the bar were very expensive with 12.5% discretionary charge added also automatically. Otherwise this was a great hotel. Would come back.

A friend and I stayed here for two nights. We checked in on 1st February. We loved the hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a twin room which had twin huge comfortable "double" beds. The room was clean, warm and very spacious. Every time we left or came in we were greeted by at least one and often two conscierges who couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious (love the smoked mackerel!). if I had one fault it was those toast making machines that take ages and only half toast the bread but everything else made up for it. The reception staff were second to none. This is the second time I have stayed at this particular hotel and it certainly won't be the last. I love Marriott - love the Marriott Dalmahoy as well. A huge improvement on last time is the free WiFi which I think is a must in any hotel.

I've been to London on business multiple times and never really found a hotel that was affordable and yet nice enough. I was very pleasantly surprised by this Marriott hotel. The neighborhood is nice and upscale and the location is out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of the city. The rooms are a good size and clean. The staff was impressive. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay! The executive club was also very pleasant and great for breakfast.

Room Tip: Street side is a little more noisy but not a problem.

I stayed at Marriott London Regents Park multiple times from September 2013 through January 2014. During the many stays, I tried about every room in the hotel and food as well. Keep in mind that I'm American so my commentary might be slightly skewed.

Overall, the hotel property is very nice and I liked that it was a bit out of the din of Central London. That said, it is super convenient to get to Central London via Swiss Cottage Tube station (5 min walk). Moreover, cabs are readily available except at super peak times.

The rooms are very standard in appearance with suitable space for working. The beds seemed to be a bit soft and probably due to be remodeled. The bathroom is super standard for Marriott in Europe.

The staff are very good overall and friendly. However, I would point out that they often seem to be way understaffed for both check-in and check-out. This also seems to happen a lot via "at your service" when nobody answers.

For standard "comfort" hotel food, this Marriott will not disappoint with a good club sandwich and solid breakfasts. They have a terrific Indian restaurant onsite (Zaike) which I highly recommend. Although, there are many very good restaurants less than 5 min walk away when you get bore of the hotel.

Lastly, the fitness centre deserves a bit of praise. It's very well appointed, if a bit small, gym with machines, weights, etc... There is also a pool.

The people working at this hotel were very helpfull and friendly. We had a room underneath the executive lounge and woke up early from chairs moving over the floor a lady with high heels making noise. We got another room right away. We had dinner at the bar once and it tasted very good. The tube is just 5 minutes walk away. We found breakfast way to expensive and went to a restaurant 5 minutes walk away (to your left when you get out the hotel, one block over) and had there the best breakfast ever! The Primrose Eatery. Very friendly and funny people there, Ian and Luke. We ate there every morning for 4 days and spent about as much money as we would have for 1 breakfast at the Marriott.
