A brilliant location, so easy to walk to many attractions. The hotel was clean, basic rooms but very comfy beds, I would definitely recommend as a base for sightseeing. The price we paid was the same as Travelodge hotels outside of London so a great deal all round.

This hotel is more or less right in the middle of London, everywhere is not too far away. With this in mind the cost i felt was not too bad, just over a ton each night. The room was typical Travelodge, clean with enough space, the bathroom was a decent size but NO toiletries except for a small bottle of hand soap, no shower gel or shampoo which i thought was unusual. The room did not have a hair dryer but one could be borrowed from reception for a couple of hours which was strange i thought. The breakfast was good enough and plentiful however the queues could soon mount up to get in as it's only a small breakfast room, you could use the other site they have over the road but that was just hassle i didn't want so i waited. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
My biggest complaint if thats what you call it was the shower, it was like washing in the rain, extremely disappointing no pressure and hardly any water, but i guess coming up to the 7th floor it had reason to be weak! The lifts were clean and the general public areas were all ok as well.
Final question: would I go back again...next time we are in London we will stay at this Travelodge.
One final thing, our room did not have A/C and it got quite warm, what's it like in the middle of summer? phew!

We had 4 adults staying for 3 nights on the first part of our UK vacation. Best location ever, central to almost everything. Cabs were not expensive because we were so centrally located. Smaller rooms, but very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Restaurant and bar on site was handy, and many restaurants and pubs very close. Staff was always polite and went out of their way to accommodate any request we had. For any US visitors, most hotels do not supply face cloths this one included, you may want to bring one with you.

Myself, my sister in law . my niece and ten year old granddaughter spent the weekend in this hotel as we we're in London for the 1D concert.
We booked a few months in advance and got the hotel at a good price for a central London hotel £140 for the for of us for two nights.
We had a family room which was spacious with a double bed and 2 singles . the bathroom was a reasonable size with a bath and a adequate shower . We had enough towels but you need to bring your own toiletries as they only provide a very small bottle of shower jel / shampoo. There was a kettle with tea coffee etc and although there was no hair dyer you can get one from the reception free of charge .The room was very hot but you can get a fan from the reception free of charge.
You can pay for breakfast when booking and save a £ or just pay whilst you are there . It cost £7.95 ( kids eat free ) for a all you can eat buffet which consists of , cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, crossiants, muffins, bacon, sausages , beans , eggs and tomatoes. You also get tea , coffee and juice.
The hotels location is perfect , loads of places within walking distance , Covent Garden , Leicester square, Oxford street etc. There are two tube stations nearby Holborn and Tottenham court road .
The staff in the hotel are polite and friendly and offer advice advice on how to get around etc.
Lots of restaurants and bars close by and I highly recommend the" Old Dutch house " pancake restaurant which is a 5 min walk away , where you can the hugest savoury or sweet pancakes that taste absolutely delicious.
All in all this hotel ticked all the boxes for us and I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay there again when visiting London .

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better the view. We stayed on the 11th floor and had a great view of the Sh...

Just returned from two nights in London staying at this hotel for the first time....it was great. Lovely and clean, staff really friendly and an amazing location at the top of Drury Lane. We were on the 13th floor and had an amazing view out over the city. Beds really comfortable. Have booked to go again in October.

Room Tip: Request a high room...views amazing!!

Strongly recommend this hotel, very central being just round the corner from Covent Garden, the quietness of the rooms/corridors was fantastic, we stayed 3 nights and got the most brilliant nights sleep every night , the king size bed was extremely comfy. Reception and cafe staff were extremely helpful & friendly, even more so than any 'posh' hotel we've stayed in. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast (although we would have preferred fried eggs to scrambled!) We would strongly recommend

You get what you expect from travelodge, clean and budget priced (by London standards!).

The location in the middle of covent garden was great with easy access to all the attractions for tourists (I was here on business :-( lol)

Decent sized room, comfortable bed and acceptable breakfast.
