Booked with friends at this hotel and on arrival knew thinks had gone wrong! We where informed that they did not have rooms for us and we had been moved to there sister hotel just of Shaftsbury Ave. although they seem to class it as the same hotel? It took an age to get sorted out as the staff seemed to lack good English skills. Arrived at the other location and checked in, so they had sorted it out. Entrance to the lift area is shocking, like a prison corridor. Rooms are very basic. Only had skylight type windows. Roof top views! Cafe type area downstairs not worth a look in. Is it cheap? Well by London standards, yes! But you get what you pay for!

This travelodge has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are clean, modern, plenty of space, quiet. So close to everything that you can walk to Oxford Street, Covent garden etc even across the river in 20 mins. I would go back again and again. Staff were so friendly. Thanks for a great stay Travelodge.

excellent value stay in central London, great location with added bonus of bar and breakfast facilities. Staff in the café were really helpful and friendly. The downside was it was hot weather and there was no air conditioning in the room so we had the window open which was a bit noisy.

We use this hotel for most of our stays in London. The rooms are a good size, clean, pleasantly and simply decorated, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is great and the location is fabulous! Having stayed in more luxurious hotels in london for treble the price we always go back to the Travelodge Covent Garden. Anything more for a clean place to sleep, wash, have breakfast and leave your gear is, i our opinion, not worth it.

Room Tip: The hotel is split in two, being in very close proximity to each other. We have stayed at both and...

This was my daughter's first visit to London and the location of the hotel was fantastic for everything we wanted to do in our short time there. Air conditioning would have been preferable as the electric fan provided was too noisy and made sleep difficult.

I booked this hotel for a stay in London with my young daughter. The hotel felt safe and welcoming. The location is excellent for tourists;Covent Garden is 5 minutes walk, shopping is easy to reach and Chinatown is 10 mins walk.
Staff were efficient, early check-in took about 2 mins! Double room was spacious and clean. New beds and pillows are very comfortable and the shower is excellent. Provision of toiletries great - one less thing to pack! Only thing I would say is that our room was too hot. Windows only open an inch (safety reasons, I presume) and we visited during hot weather. An idea would also be to provide more hangers or more hooks so that evening outfits can be hung up. Hooks in bathroom for towels would be great. Overall, I would stay there again and highly recommend for a stay in London.
