Stayed here again for the third summer in a row. This year we haad a fan and were advised to keep the windows and curtains closed during the day, which we did and then we opened the window at night. If it is too hot I just wet a handtowel with cold water and wrap around my neck, but it wasn't too bad.
This is such great value, we were again in the Holborn building 5 mins from holburn tube station, but within easy walking distance of so many places.
Beds comfy, room clean, plenty of towels, two proper z-beds for children rather than the rather shabby sofas was an improvement - I wouold recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: High floor

Small room but very clean and comfortable. We were on the top floor and it was very warm considering it wasn't a hot day but the window did open a little. Great location if going to the theatre. Would recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in town. We stayed here on a Saturday night after being at Film 4 Somerset House. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean as always and it served it's purpose for location and is excellent value for money.

Stayed here for 3 nights, for a theatre break with my wife, August 13th-16th. Staff were all very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of all things and places. Breakfast was very good with plenty choice and a special thank you to Jeremy who made breakfast time extra special.
Room on third floor was clean and comfortable, and although you are in the middle of theatre land, noise was not an issue. Food in the restaurant was good value and tasty. All in all a great place to stay if you want to be in the centre of theatre land ,and also only a 10 minute walk to the river.

Great location for a sight seeing stay in London - particularly for theatre. With large, spacious and clean rooms, this Travelodge is hard to fault. The staff were particularly accommodating and even had no problem with us buying a pizza from Domino's next door and eating it in the hotel room.
