First time I have stayed at a Travelodge for 20years or more and can honestly say I was impressed. The hotel was in a great location, was clean and tidy and I would not hesitate to book again. We stayed in a family room and it suited our needs. Yes there was a slight bit of noise from the lift and the doors in the corridor, but nothing too intrusive, nothing that disturbed us. The lampshades were a bit dusty, but that didn't bother us either. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Great price, clean, quiet, and with friendly and helpful staff. Really short walk to tube, pharmacy, and British Museum! We stayed with two young children, the room had a bathtub (bring your own face washers), and was surprisingly quiet. More than I expected for the price.

Great location for an overnight stay to enjoy an evening out in Leicester Square. Hotel was easy to find & only a short distance from Covent Garden tube and Leicester Square where we were attending a film premiere & after party. Basic but good value for Central London.

Conveniently located although when you arrive with your bag from the tube it feels like a long walk. Excellent location for theatre land. Says it's refurbished but curtains poor and hanging off, carpet looks grubby and the hardest bed I have ever slept in! No AC installed! Receptionist very unwelcoming and mechanical. It's OK for one night. Nowhere to leave your bag before or after you check in/out which means you have to pay extra for an early check in, and that was offered as a real favour and as if I was being a real pain!

Ideal for our family, well located, only a twenty minute walk down from Euston and located between the British Museum and Covent Garden. We were in the block on High Holborn, room was more spacious than expected, very warm though in room, even if temperatures only just seventy degrees outside. We took the breakfast as it was £6.50 each for the two adults and the kids were free. It was fine and convenient. Would stay again.

We found this hotel extremely welcoming ,the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. The room was excellent had a better sleep than at home. We didn't book in for breakfast as we had one bad experience with travel lodge but as we passed by it looked good.it was also in a good place for sight seeing .

Having not stayed in a Travelodge until a few months ago, when I visited Tamworth, this time I decided to try out a London hotel.
The position in Covent Garden is very convenient, and about the only complaint I could give is that you have to climb a dozen or so steps to get from street level to the hotel foyer.
Check in can be via a bank of automatic self service units (which I hate!) or go to the desk and have a very straight forward book in by a really helpful reception team.
The reception area overlooks a very pleasant café area and bar, where prices were very reasonable and a nice plate of food cost less than £10.
The room was clean and very practical, with no noise problems at all. As I was in London for a Cricket Test Match, my booking was for 5 days. Everything about my stay was excellent and I have no doubts about recommending this Travelodge to other visitors to London

Room Tip: Didn't seem to matter frankly, please note only get half an hour of free WIFI per day
