“Nice hotel but staff need to improve their service”
Reviewed 18 January 2014

I stayed here for 3 nights the room was spotless and spacious cant complain about it. the staff on the other hand were very rude and unwelcoming. I know myself as i work in the hotel business that you have to be very polite and helpful but they weren't at all it was a big disappointment as everything else in the hotel was great especially the location. I would love to stay here again but the staffs unfriendly and rude attitude has turned me off it - it doesn't cost anything to smile

Everything as a hotel should be. Clean, great service, 200m from the tube. Quiet, good continental breakfast. Coat hooks in the bathroom. Quality bathroom fittings with a superb shower. Will definitely stay here again. Right next to the Imperial War Museum.

After a shaky start due to the company we booked with going bust and the hotel not having our booking which was not their fault we were extremely impressed by this hotel. The staff, especially reception were extremely friendly. The girl on the desk managed to get us rooms at a very reasonable price and match what we had originally booked through Trivago. The rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. We were staying for 3 nights for a sightseeing trip to London and the hotel was in a great location with a 2 minute walk to the nearest tube station or walking distance to the London eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend others to use.

Booked family room - 4 separate beds - which was plenty big enough. Although not a lot of storage space, so longer than a couple of nights not sure what you would do with your clothes. Bathroom was very splended, if a little cold. Had to keep the door closed as you could feel the cold coming into the room. Reception staff very polite and helpful, very quick check in and out. Others had reported that the police staion opposite some of the rooms caused a lot of noise. We were round the corner, did hear a couple of sirens during the night, but nothing more than I would expect in a major city. Nice touch that check out time was advanced to 12 on New Years Day. 10-15 minute walk from Warterloo and the Eye. Costa 5 minutes away. All in all a decent enough hotel at a resonable price.

Room Tip: Away from the Kennington Road which is where the Police Station is.

Stay at Days Inn London Waterloo last night, was really pleased with the room. Was very clean and quite, even though we were on road side. Our room had triple glazed window so we could not here the traffic.
If you need a good budget hotel near London eye and near tube station this is for you.
We also had breakfast which was very good, plenty of choice. We also had dinner there, which was a good price and was tasty.

I've stayed in many Travelodges (purely for business overnighters) but the Days Inn (of the same league as Travelodge) is infinitely better. The rooms are splendidly cosy and, most importantly, very clean. The bathroom is positively 4 star. The reception staff are efficient, albeit a trifle moody. The breakfast is good hearty English fayre.
