I stayed in a double room for one night with my boyfriend. The hotel lobby was very nice and the staff were friendly. Our room was on the fifth floor. It was a small room, but that really doesn't matter if what you're looking for is just a little base for going out in London. It wasn't a problem for us at all. The decor is not the best and it is need of a coat of paint etc, but again, this really isn't an issue if you're not looking for a five star hotel! The bedroom was neat and tidy and there was a hairdryer, television and tea and coffee making facilities- so it had everything we needed and was perfectly fine for our short stay.
The room was at the front of the hotel, overlooking a road, so it was a little bit noisy. But no so much that we had trouble sleeping.
Overall, if you're going to London for a quick stop, I would recommend this hotel, and I would stay there again myself. The main selling point is its fantastic location, which is a 5 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station and just a little more to Earl's Court. There's also a big Sainsbury's 2 minutes away and several coffee shops and cafes.More
