I stayed at the Ambassodors for 3 nights during July although I must compliment the area inwhich this hotel was located, on arrival they encountered a challenge relating to my booking, the way inwhich the front staff handled the challenge was unwelcoming and potrayed a clear picture to me that they were doing me a favour for staying in their hotel. They then charged me more than what was promised on my arrival than what was indicated on their website bearing in mind my room reservation had not changed.
They seem to also be more focused on trying to make additional money from you during your stay and less about good customer experience as I was charged for accessing their wifi for the 3 days which most hotels offer complimentary, they also charged me for holding my bag for less the 12 hours, not a great experience.

Average hotel, breakfast starts at 7am, hoped it would be a little earlier, considering we were staying at the hotel for a pre-departure stay for our Top-deck tour. Small room, not enough room but very clean. Close to train station and restaurants.
Needed to pay a voucher for wi-fi for 24hours, payed for another voucher the next day and the old worked. Was not impressed with that, 5 pounds for 24hours.

Spent a night here for business purposes in June 2014. Check-in was very impersonal and bordering on rude. The room was poor. It was a single bedroom on the ground floor, but it had no windows and felt a little like staying on a boat cabin or cupboard (photo attached). The desk was very rudimentary and not suitable for working at. The bedding was clean, but the mattress was done. I could feel every spring and found it most uncomfortable. The breakfast was very average; the concentrated orange juice was bitter, the coffee served very average, but the croissants were fresh and very tasty.
Unfortunately, given the poor quality of the bedroom and bedding, I won't stay here again.

Room Tip: Don't book a single room

We went to London for 2 days with a one night stay, then continuing our journey around Europe then finishing up for 3 days in London again. We had booked both stays at the ambassadors but after one night we gave cancelled the second stay due to the well below terrible conditions. You can not even say it is value for money, the room you can't even lay a suitcase on the floor, the bathroom you can only just fit on the toilet (and I'm only a size 8 female haha) the shower was mouldy with the tiles being not far behind, there was no air circulation and the service was well below average with the receptionist barley being able to speak English and when she could was when she was agreeing with us about the terrible accommodation provided, I would have preferred to stay in a hostel over the ambassadors. My suggestion to everyone is to stay away, there is no value for money even if it is just for one night!!!!! TIP IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES THEY DISPLAY ON THE NET.

Room Tip: Run Away, just find somewhere else to stay

Don't pack the cat - no room for your bags, let alone space to swing the cat. Staff mostly unhappy and abrupt and unhelpful, except for corina, breakfast hostess. Rooms clean, but no air con, desk fan only. Small dorm like rooms off narrow corridors - a fire hazard if there ever was one. Breakfast very basic and cold. By Aussie standards, a basic backpackers at Hilton price

Room Tip: Don't book it

This hotel was booked by gullivers travel associates for flight dentre in australia. The
standard room was sub standard to say the least. Shower barely worked, toilet flush handle was broken, cracked tiles in bathroom, mouldy grout & dirty shower curtain. Bathroom had no extract fan or ventilation, we mostly used public toilet in foyer. When showering bathroom/toilet was so small we had to prop open the door with the rubbish tidy bin . No matress protector.Paint chipped off doors and frames work. Every day we heard other guests complaining about lack of ventilation and air conditioning. How this room could be classed as standard i will never know. Shame on the travel agent who booked this for us. I would appreciate a reply from the hotel and the travel agent.travel agent.r
