When we arrived the outside and reception looked promising. The customer service was good but thats were the positives ended. I asked about Wifi and was told we had to pay for it, no complimentary service.. Every other hotel we had stayed at throughout our entire trip (4 weeks) had free Wifi. Thats whats annoying to say the least as we had to purchase internet vouchers to log in. 1 hr = 1 pound…
When we got up to our level we walked out of the lift and i honestly thought there was a heater on or something, the corridors are very humid and warm. We got to our room and it was the same, after looking around for the zircon i realised there wasn't one! I know its not meant to be that hot in london but I couldn't even open the window to let fresh air in, its only opens slightly at the top. We had the small fan going they provided non stop.
The room was clean and tidy but did smell a bit funky. When I went to have a shower it was a pain to open and close the shower door as it slides and folds, not very well I may add. You need to put a bit of force into it.
The breakfast was ok, but really missing any source of protein such as eggs and/or bacon.
I really think if they address these issues within in rooms that the reviews for this hotel would be much better.
