Pros:
Beds are clean and comfortable.
Breakfast includes ham and cheese. A hot breakfast (with the works) costs an extra £5, which pretty decent.
Hotel is about 5 minute stroll to Underground (Earl's court station)
Cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, pubs only a few minutes away.

Cons:
No free wifi, and charges are a little steep. (There's an Internet cafe nearby but connection is incredibly slow. If you're desperate enough u can pay for the hotel's)
Bathroom sink is unbelievably small. Shower area is also very small but tolerable.
Staff are a little shorthanded at night, so don't bother waiting for that extra pillow or toilet roll. Go to the counter and collect it yourself.

Stayed here for two nights in May. Got upgraded to a room for three which meant we had an extra bed to store our bags on. Nothing fancy here. Bathroom was cramped and shower kind of gross, but considering all the other dumps we saw for around the same price, this is decent by comparison. complimentary breakfast was pretty basic. lift was tiny (as suspected). Location was decent for tube access.

The hotel is very handily placed for the underground, only a very short walk away. We were originally placed in a very small room on the fourth floor right next to the lift shaft which was very noisy but reception very quickly allowed us to change rooms. Our room was very clean, nicely furnished, and a comfortable bed. It was though very small. No real wardrobe, or floor space, and tiny shower room. It was however fine for a one night stay. It was also a bonus to be told complimentary continental breakfast was included. This was served buffet style in the basement dining room, and was lovely. The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage on arrival and also on departure.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor to minimise street noise

Just a 3 minute walk from the Earls Court tube, the location can't be beat. Quiet and clean with everything you could need just a stones throw away. The room we had was spotless, but very small. I had to climb over my wife to get out of bed, but hey, this is London and the price was right.

Good points:

Clean hotel. Quiet location for a good nights sleep but plenty of shops and eateries nearby. Beds very comfortable. Within a minute walk's of the underground. Excellent service. Arrived nearly an hour before check in time of 14.00 but the receptionist on the desk checked if a room was available and allowed us to check in early. Equally good service for breakfast. Very pleasant staff keeping the breakfast room well stocked and spotless. Could maybe do with a few more cereal choices but that is a minor quibble. Muesli and cornflakes on offer. Croissants, ham and cheese. Toast, tinned fruit cocktail and yoghurts. Cooked breakfat available for £5. Fruit juice, tea and coffee. The coffee is delicious. Able to leave suitcases free of charge on last day.

Quibbles:

We stayed in a twin room and only two plug sockets were available. As the room was hot we needed the fan on as no air con therefore that left us only one socket to charge up our mobile phones and cameras. Another couple of sockets would have made life easier. The shower is small and if you are considered overweight I think you would struggle to manouvre in there. The door opens inwards making getting in and out difficult. This is bearable for a couple of nights stay but I would not want to deal with it for any longer. Having mentioned the quibbles I would stay again at the right price. I would not pay the rack rate but would be happy paying the £157.00 for two nights for two people again.

Dear valued guest – we thank you very much for your positive comments. Our staff and location have once again made sure that you had a good stay with us. We have taken on board your comments on introducing some more cereals for breakfast and will work on this. Being a conversion from a Victorian property we were constrained by the requirements of the original building and hence some rooms are smaller than others. However it sometimes adds to the charm of the hotel. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

I stayed at Oliver Plaza with my 7yr old daughter for 2 nights and having done previously in August 2010 and I decided to book again for this trip. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff are very courteous and friendly. The only negative thing to say is that our shower en-suite was smaller than the room we stayed in previously but that is about it. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so, I can't comment on that service. The hotel is located literally a few minutes away from Earls Court tube station and is convenient for the museums. We checked out on the Tuesday morning and were able to store our luggage at the hotel as we were not returning home until the early evening. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we will definitely go back again!
