The thing we like about the hotel is its location and the river view, in the glorious Autumn sun and also the lit up view at night, is spectacular.
The hotel is very comfortable and the food very good, although on this occasion it was just breakfast that we had.
The room was very comfortable and although it is not cheap, the service is very efficient and helpful.
We had afternoon drinks on the Terrace for the first time, as previous visits were usually in cooler times, which was very pleasant.
Finding taxis can still be an issue, which has been made worse, we think, because of the road diversions for the Olympics, but the tube is just a short walk, even with a suitcase and easily manageable.
We did remark that we had looked up the number for a taxi firm (think Trip Advisor had suggestions on a Forum) when visiting Amsterdam earlier this year and so called from the hotel for one on that trip. We should have done the same for this trip to London.
