Every year us group of girls in our family arrange to go for Afternoon tea. Having left the booking a bit late this year we decided to revisit the Landmark's Winter Garden and it did not fail to disappoint!
We were greeted with a warmly welcome by the servers and the shown to our table which was at the back, due to the size of our group we had a nice private dining area for the majority of the stay. After being shown to our seats and gracefully listening to the pianist we were given the menu's. We all decided to go for the normal afternoon tea instead of the optional chocolate afternoon tea. There were several different tea's on offer but I chose the English Breakfast Tea which was delicious in flavour.
The server addressed my dietary requirements about the sandwiches, asking me what fillings I wanted and the bread as I couldn't eat the one's supplied. After the sandwiches were scoffed down we were then given an array of scones and pastries. All of which went down a treat!

A lovely afternoon had by all, leaving with our stomach's full from all the lovely sandwiches, scones, pastries and tea :)

Really enjoyed our recent stay. The Family Room was ideal, plenty of space for our 2 children. Only 2 areas of concern, there was nowhere suitable (that we found) to sit at night with the children also the service at breakfast was only average. The breakfast was good though.

Room Tip: Ask fior room overlooking courtyard.

Please accept my apologies that our breakfast experience was not to your complete satisfaction during your stay. Our restaurant and bar, 2-22 is popular with families to relax and dine in comfortable surroundings and perhaps this may be an option we could offer on any future visit.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share your feedback

I stay at this hotel because it is right next to Marylebone rail station and I need to go Bicester Village for shopping. I have enjoyed my stay. The staff was very nice. They told us the hotel used to be a hospital during WWII. There is a free shoe cleaning service which I found to be a nice touch. The only drawback was that my room did not have neither coffee maker nor complementary water. But overall, I found my room cozy and was very pleased with my stay.

The Landmark is a stylish hotel with modern fittings but which delivers an elegant feel. As you walk into the large Winter Garden atrium you can easily imagine you are back in the roaring twenties. Our rooms was well laid out with views of the atrium and because of this it was also very quiet for a London hotel.

I would highly recommend afternoon tea in the Winter Garden and the scones were small but perfectly formed!

Not that it will matter for most visitors to London (who will probably be travelling by public transport) but the car park was full and by the time I exited I would have had to drive around the block again to approach reception so there was no offer of valet parking. There is an NCP some 5 minute walk away however.

The only other thought for non-Londoners is that this hotel is situated on the Marylebone Road which is next to London Zoo and Regent's Park but quite a walk from the West End, Covent Garden etc. If you were wanting to stroll out of your hotel, catch a meal and theatre in the West End, without catching a cab then there are closer hotels.

For ambience, tradition, elegance, afternoon tea... highly recommended.

Room Tip: They may all look over the Atrium but if they don't, ask for a room overlooking the atrium.
