The facelift was the right move and I think, they have done a fantastic job: stylish entrance area,
very friendly and professional staff in fashionable outfits, good location and spacious rooms (for London standards). We will return.

We stayed two nights at the Rosewood London. From start to finish it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. I typically enjoy an "old-world" hotel (Excelsior Rome, Palace Barcelona, Grand Hotel Paris, Grand Hotel Siena, etc) and I was concerned that the "new-ness" of the Rosewood would be a turnoff. I was WRONG. The lobby is exquisite. The service prompt and friendly. Our room was large with an excellent tub, every conceivable amenity including a top of the line hair dryer. (One needs these things!) The bed was very, very comfortable. It is located about 50 yards from the Holborn tube stop.
We had tea, breakfast and drinks in the bar and enjoyed all three. The bar is obviously very popular with the locals as it gets very busy during happy hour. Book a table if you want to guarantee your spot. The live music on Friday was fantastic. Drinks are priced as they would be at any five star hotel.
This hotel made us want to skip some of our planned London activities and just stay there all day! I could not recommend more and will definitely be making this the only hotel I'll stay at in London.

The hotel is lovely, striking even. The staff are all very well presented in tradition English tweed coats and more than happy to help.
Everything about our five day stay was A1... Ok a little pricey but you can't expect much less of a five star hotel

Stayed here for a one night treat. Loved every minute. Good location. Great bar. Staff were attentive and really professional. Rooms great. Hotel amazing. Because it was Saturday could park car for free in nearby street after 13:30. Expensive to eat and drink but for a special treat. We'll worth it. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

What a gorgeous hotel! We will definitely be booking again. All the staff were super helpful, we were staying for 1 night after getting married & it was perfect! A free upgrade, a beautiful room with the most comfortable bed & super soft bed linen & pillows. The Mirror Bar is chic, chilled & beautiful. The Holburn Dining Room for dinner (& where you have breakfast) was laid back & chilled. Can't wait to stay again! Valet parking was easy & the guys were so helpful. Perfect day/evening. Thank you to all at Rosewood.

The hotel is beautiful and contributed a great share of joy to my latest stay in London.
Where do I start...

Interior of the hotel is amazing!
It is cosy, it is chic and at the same time it has a subtle sense of humour (the bulldog statue in the hotel lobby is hilariously real), which is a very nice touch. Rooms are clean and well decorated, I loved marble panels in the bathroom as well as copper (?) sink — very retro.
Bedding is very comfortable, I slept like a baby.

The location is perfect: you can walk to all major city attractions and tube station/ bus stop are just around the corner. British Museum is very close!

Staff is very nice and polite, always helpful and full of advices about local attractions and routes.

The Rosewood London is sheer perfection.

The recent and pristine renovation pays homage to the stunning and vast Edwardian architecture—juxtaposed seamlessly with delicate décor elements rarely seen in a hotel of this size; a hand-stitched leather-bound portfolio, a Stingray silver box with custom amenities, highly curated books and delicate artifacts on shelves, birds chirping in gilded cages and delicious scented candles burning in the lobby, and the list goes on.

In the guest rooms, every detail has been well considered. High-functioning technology is invisibly woven into the inviting and tranquil rooms; Samsung Smart TVs, flawless (and complimentary) WiFi, plentiful and thoughtfully located international outlets. The linens are exquisite, the beds are sublime, the Etro throw is unexpected and divine, and the bathrooms are lavish and decadent.

The warmth and authentic friendliness of the staff is palpable from the bellman to the concierge. The style of service transcends conventional 5-star hotel benchmarks; it is easy, unforced, organic and non-invasive.

The exceptional, world-class leadership of the hotel’s Managing Director is evident in every hand-picked staff member and the execution of every tiny detail throughout the property. The Rosewood is his home, and you are treated as his personal guest.

This London property is the new crowned jewel in the global Rosewood portfolio; a well deserved distinction. It is understated elegance and modern luxury at it’s finest. And I would never consider staying anywhere else in London again. Period.
